Excellence knows no bounds In July, Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage Club in Sotogrande opened its third polo field. The club is committed to providing top-level services across all areas of equestrian sport and is located in a valley with stunning views and in an exclusive equestrian zone. Its recently opened third polo field also has a training area and premier stable facilities all in one place, with all the advantages that that brings with it. Martín Iturraspe, polo manager at Dos Lunas explains, “it is part of our commitment at Dos Lunas to keep improving, offering teams a new service that includes a polo field, a training area and stables, all at the highest level. The training area is designed by German company Klaus Damann, as are all the others at Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage”. He adds, “the idea behind Dos Lunas is
to offer a year-round, first-rate service so that patrons and teams can come whenever is best for them and leave their horses at our club.” Dos Lunas continues to drive polo forward in Sotogrande, and the construction of this new field, with its exclusive services, along with the club’s organisation of tournaments in June and July of this season, are living proof of that fact. Just as in previous seasons, in preparation for the beginning of the International Polo Tournament in Sotogrande, Dos Lunas will welcome the world’s top polo organisations to its facilities. Lechuza Caracas, Murus Sanctus, RH and Dos Lunas among other teams will be accommodated at the club during the 2015 season.
However, Dos Lunas is not just a polo club, it also specialises in dressage. Anunciada Torras, co proprietor of Dos Lunas together with Álvaro Sainz de Vicuña, is a great promoter of this sport and organises many top-level competitions. Maintaining the same level of impulse in dressage as in polo, and in its desire to promote, improve and create premier facilities, the club is set to open a new dressage arena in order to host both national and international competitions throughout the year. These projects just reinforce everything that Dos Lunas has already done over the last few years in the equestrian world.
