Welcome to the 7th annual Continental Connection Bull Sale. It’s hard to believe that it has been seven years since we made the decision to move our bull sale home, after serving our loyal Peace customers for over 20 years. It was not a decision we made lightly, but it was one that we made with the best interest of our bulls at heart. Aside from the quality of our bulls, you, our clients are our highest priority so services like free delivery are ones we are proud to provide to you. Don’t let distance stop you from owning the genetics you want. You handle the selection, we’ll handle the rest!
This offering of Limousin and Charolais genetics have been carefully selected for you with the docility, performance, fertility, and longevity in mind. They go through our strict selection process and must meet our criteria for temperament, yearling weight, and scrotal measurements. The bulls are developed on our corn silage and haylage ration with our homegrown brown oats and a mineral supplement. They are fed with longevity in mind while still offering the growth and performance you demand. They will be semen tested and guaranteed on sale day. They deserve to be seen in person to truly appreciate their power, however, videos will be available online in early March.
We invite you to join us in person on March 15th to view the bulls, have a great meal, and bid at our live auction. BC Livestock sales staff will be onsite to answer your questions or confidentially bid on your behalf. Live online bidding is also available through BC Livestock’s NextLot platform. Of course, you are always welcome to come view the bulls any time prior to the sale, coffee is always on!
Respectfully Yours,

This is just our second year offering the Mike progeny and they just continue to impress us. This lead off bull is one that we have admired since birth. Long bodied, big topped, great muscle and Limousin character. He was a member of our 2024 show string and pen of 3 Limo bulls we showcased at the Peace Country Beef Congress this past January. This bull is as quiet as they come and is Homo Polled as an added bonus.
If you like em’ moderate and built like a brick (you know what) house, this guy is for you. Thick made with tons of style and eye appeal. This guy was also a member of our Pen of 3 Congress bulls and he made quite a few friends. He is very quiet, correct, with great bone and has a ton of herdsire presence about him. I’ve always been a sucker for a cherry red, so this one is high on my list.
Soft made, hairy, correct, and just plain good best describes this John Wayne son. John Wayne is a new red AI sire that we are using and have been very impressed so far. He comes from a no miss Redwood daughter from Windy Gables Limousin, and this guy is no exception. He was the third member of our Pen of 3 bulls we took to the Peace Country Beef Congress where he and his pen mates gathered several compliments on their power and consistency.
The second of the John Wayne sons we have on offer and a powerhouse to boot. This bull has been a performer since birth and has consistently been one of the heaviest in the pen. He ranks in the top 5% of the breed for weaning weight so his calves are going to be a big payday come fall! His dam is 12 years old and has weaned a calf every single year since she was 2, if that doesn’t spell longevity, I don’t know what does.
Another power bull that is sure to put the pounds on your calves. This bull came “in dam” with a cow we purchased out of the Bohrson Marketing “Family Matters” Sale and have been very happy with her as an addition to our herd. Moose comes by his name honestly with his performance, muscle, length of body, and bone. This guys is going to find some friends come sale day.
This 87% Limousin bull has little touch of Angus blood in him which becomes quite evident in his performance. This Mike son has just a moderate 84lb birthweight but an 840lb actual weaning weight. I would say his young mother did a bang up job raising this guy and his calves will be no exception. He is also homo polled for a nice added bonus.
This red Sting son is the second of our angus influenced offering, and one that I really like for his hip structure, muscle, and depth of body. He comes from of our favorite red Lim-Flex cows that has never let us down. We have daughters in production and a son working for Baird Brother on Vancouver Island. If a little hybrid vigor is on your list, this guy should be at the top.
This Sting son is moderate, smooth sided, soft made, with tons of style and eye appeal. This bull has been high on our list since birth and did make an appearance on our summer show string at the Nechako Valley Fall Fair. McCoy is built for calving ease with his small head, smooth shoulder, just a moderate 80lb birthweight and a -1.9 BW EPD.
I love the true Limousin character of this Sting son. He’s long bodied, wide topped, and has a great hip and muscle shape. He also has the makings to be a calving ease sire with the way his shoulder ties so nicely into his rib and his great neck extension. Not to mention his moderate Birthweight and negative BW EPD makes this bull a very attractive package. He also has maternal sisters working our herd and a maternal brother working for Kevin Kaufman.
Any G n R fans out there catch my play on words with this bull’s name?? Anyone?? Anyway, this bull has been a sleeper in the bull pen and has recently become one to watch on my list. His sire, a bull we raised, now working for Kevlon Land and Cattle, is one we think very highly of and therefore used on some of our best cows. This cherry red bull has great muscle, style, and is hairy too. Take a close look at this guy.
Here is a Kryptonite son that is going to put some pounds on your calves! Top 5% of the breed for Weaning weight and top 10% of the breed for yearling weight, his numbers don’t lie! He comes from one of Rob’s favorite cows, a phenotypically flawless cow with a beautiful udder. This bull is deep bodied, good footed, and has great muscle expression. He could be one of my favorite red bulls on offer.
Really nice made, smooth sided Horton son that comes from a super deep bodied beautifully uddered cow we purchased from Eric Martens. This bull has a great hip and muscle shape and carries the same depth as his momma. This bull has lots of maternal strength on his side as well including a milk EPD in the top 10% of the breed!
The one of the youngest bulls in the limo offering, but one that has constantly impressed me with his growth and performance. Long bodied, big topped, with lots of bone, this Mike son is going to be one to watch.
Another one of these very consistent Mike sons. You can see why we are so happy with how he has been breeding for us when you see a pen of progeny like these. This guy has a ton of top and hip shape but still maintains his correctness and structure. His maternal granddam was one of the maternal greats in our herd, so be rest assured that has been passed to this guy as well.
If docility is important to you, then mark this guy high on your list. All of these Mike sons have been super chill and easy to work with, but this guy was particularly good. Couple that with his muscle, hair coat, length of body, and the fact that he’s homo polled…you have the total package here folks.
I’m sure you’ve noticed the consistency in these Mike sons by now with how evenly patterned they are with muscle, top, and structure. This guy exhibits all of these and put it together in a smooth made, clean headed, homo polled package. Owned with Plains Limousin.
Rush is an AI sire that we have used very successfully in our program in the last few years and this guy is proof as to why. These Rush progeny have been moderate in their birthweights, but explosive with their muscle and growth –the perfect combination. This guy comes from one of our most consistent cows who has 2 daughters producing in our herd, one daughter who sold to Payne Livestock for $7000, and a son working for Cara Kells.
Heifer bull alert! If red calving ease bull was on your list, then this guy needs to be at the top. Just a moderate 86lb birthweight born unassisted out of Austyn’s 4-H heifer. He is small skulled, smooth shouldered, and refined in his structure making him the perfect sleep easy option. He is also halter broke and homo polled as a nice added bonus!
One of the flashiest, most eye appealing black bulls we have on offer this year. This guy has presence about him, is extended through his front, and is hairy! But don’t discount this guy for being pretty, he also has plenty of muscle and performance to back him up! Take a close look on sale day!
MATERNAL BROTHER SOLD TO DIAMOND ISLAND CATTLE CO.
Our only black Lim-flex bull we have on offer this year, but one we think is pretty special. This angus influenced bull is a best of both worlds option offering hybrid vigour in one complete package. He’s thick made with a great hip structure and strong foot. He puts it all together with a moderate 80lb birthweight and a homo polled skull.
Here is a nice outcross black son of Richmond Hector. He offers a unique pedigree twist that isn’t common in most black pedigrees in Canada. This bull is a moderate framed and stout made offering muscle and performance in nice smooth made package.
Black heifer bull here folks. Pinnacle’s Five 0 is a bull we raised and used very successfully on heifers. It is one thing for a bull to produce calves that are born easy, but it is completely another when those calves actually turn into sons like these. This bull has the promise to perform like his dad.
Another calving ease Five 0 son here with a 82lb BW born unassisted out of a heifer. These calves just didn’t disappoint, and we are proud to be able to offer them as prospective herdsires on their own. If black calving ease bull was on your list, then have a close look at this guy!
In 2022 we got the chance to invest in some of the breed leading Charolais genetics in Canada so we purchased ½ interest in SOS Kardashian. We then then took the opportunity to flush her to Mayfield, the 2023 Canadian Western Agribition Supreme Champion Bull and the results did not disappoint! This is one bull we think very highly of, he was a member of our 2024 show string and Pen of 3 Charolais bulls we took to the 2025 Peace Country Beef Congress. We would like to retain ½ interest and ½ possession of this bull to use him on some of our cows in the early 2025 breeding season. Buyer’s possession would start June 1, 2025.
This is a Ruger son we think really highly of as well. He’s deep sided, long bodied, with a great foot under him. His dam has been one of our favourite purchases from the SOS herd dispersal with daughters now producing in our herd and a son working for Darlene Macleod. He was also a member of our pen of 3 Char bulls we took to the Peace Country Beef Congress.
These are the first of the Ice Man progeny we’ve had on offer and we are very happy with them. Ice Man is the first walking Charolais herdsire we ever purchased and he has proven himself to be incredibly consistent and easy calving. Maverick was the third member of our pen of 3 Char bulls that we exhibited at the Peace Country Bull Congress. He has a maternal brother working for Doug Brook, showing the consistency of this cow as well.
Bold Move was a calving ease AI sire that we invested in to breed to heifers and this guy did not disappoint. He was born unassisted out of a heifer with just a 70lb BW and then exploded into this prospective herdsire you see here. This is what we expect from our heifers and this girl knocked it out of the park! If calving ease white bull is on your list, this guy should be at the top!
Another one of these calving ease, smooth made Ice Man sons. Have a look at this guy’s growth numbers. Born unassisted at just a moderate 90lbs, but then boasting WW and YW EPD’s in the top 10% of the breed! This guy has all the pieces to put calves on the ground that will slam down the scale in the fall!
SIRE
Stylish, eye catching Ice Man son who is extended through his front with a smooth shoulder and deep rib. From just a moderate made two year old cow who did a bang up job raising this guy. One that is going to not only put pounds on your calves, but will give them that look!
This is the only red two year old bull we have on offer this year, but we think he’s a pretty darn good one. These two year bulls are all virgins and have never been offered for sale. They are backgrounded on grass and not pushed. They are raised with longevity in mind so you can get all your cows bred! This bull’s dam is an up and comer in our herd, one that has a heifer in the replacement pen, and has bull calf at side right now that could be the best one in the field.
Moderate framed, deep sided, big hipped, big topped Five 0 son here. This bull offers a combination of calving ease with just a 76lb BW and performance with his natural muscle. This bull is going to sire a fancy set of black calves that will come easy and fire up those buyers come fall.
Lex is a bull that is near and dear to my daughter Austyn. She hand raised this bulls mother from day one and she is very invested in all of her progeny. She is sad to see this guy go, but knows he is going to make his buyer a very happy farmer when they see his calves. This bull is in the top 1% of the breed for docility and even though he is not halter broke himself, the proof is in his pedigree. Owned by Austyn Kishkan.
When it came time to study the heifer pen to select our sale heifers it became evident very quickly that it wasn’t going to be an easy choice. All of the heifers in our 2024 replacement pen are such high quality that we really couldn’t go wrong. Whether it’s red or black Limos you’re after, you can be rest assured that these were chosen from a very strong and consistent group.
2024 was a strong heifer year for our Char cows and we ended up with 12 very high quality females in the replacement pen. From these 12 we selected 6 that we feel complemented each other nicely and are very excited to be able to offer them to you. Whether you are adding to your herd or just starting out, you can’t go wrong with any of these females.
