3, 4, 5, 6 12th - 16th July Miss Mogridge / Miss Hayes mogridges@glendowerprep.org 20 Are you interested in the world around you? Do you have a flair for creative writing and enjoy collecting new and interesting words? Then why not come to the Purple Pages summer club where you can try your hand at being a roving reporter in South Kensington! You are invited to the Glendower newsroom for the first week of the summer holiday where we will be working on putting together a newspaper. It will contain news and feature pieces in addition to any interviews or first-person pieces. You will receive a crash-course in journalism from Miss Mogridge who previously worked for the Daily Mail and BBC. You will take part in a news briefing, learn shorthand, edit each other’s pieces and even ‘hunt for’ a local story in South Kensington. There will also be a chance to create a video news bulletin!
