19th - 23rd July Staff: Miss Broughton / Mrs Hayes E-mail: cenamory@glendowerprep.org Places: 20 Description: If you are looking for a little extra push, help and preparation for the upcoming 11+ examination, this is your club! During this week we will start every morning developing our mental arithmetic skills, learning different processes to do calculations. We will then move on to word problems. How many different ways do you think a puzzle can be solved? We will look at different papers and styles; we will work on timed activities and we will solve many mysteries – some murder cases and even a treasure hunt around the school! All of this using our best mathematical knowledge. We will also investigate certain topics and present and debate with the class – it will be great practice for your future interviews.
