The FYA is a proven effective safety countermeasure to reduce the frequency of left turn angle crashes at signalized intersections. th

The signal staff, under the direction of Mr. Reuben Lopez, the Transportation Systems Management (TSM) manager, prepared a plan to upgrade the intersection using internal forces Staff procured all the material needed for the project On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the traffic signal team successfully completed the required upgrades to the signal to incorporate a flashing yellow arrow operation.

This brings the number of intersections with FYA to 44 citywide!
