Contracted crews recently performed pavement preservation work at the Glendale Regional Airport The work performed on Taxiway Alpha and its runway connectors included crack sealing and applying a seal coat of material called GSB-88, an FAA approved emulsion-based restorative and protective sealant The crews also milled and overlayed new asphalt on two existing taxiway connectors, Ramp R-3, between the south ramp and taxiway Alpha, and A-8, between Taxiway Alpha and the Runway. The project was finalized with the painting of new striping and markings.
