





Gen Healthy Minds was established in 2018 and over the past five years has worked with Early Careers teams across a wide range of sectors and countries to deliver our bespoke programmes. Everything we do is designed to help you thrive and perform at your best in work and life.
Our offering is unique as we tailor our programmes around developing wellbeing and performance of Apprentices and Graduates during their journey into Early Careers.
We are delighted to be supporting your Homes England Graduate Programme. Throughout 2023 we will be running a series of high energy 90 minute interactive online and face to face Boost Masterclasses that will support your wider development.
Our goal is to support you to stay healthy, happy and be able to perform to a high level in and outside of the workplace. The performance and wellbeing tools and techniques that we will teach you will equip you to take on challenges ahead of you, both during your programme and beyond.
We will be providing you with content and development that we feel is most relevant at each stage of your Early Careers journey.
Alex is a leading expert in Digital Wellbeing having conducted Academic research at Aberdeen University with a research focus on the impact that digital technology is having on wellbeing. She has used her expertise to create Live More Offline and a series of programmes to help people create a healthy relationship with digital technology in the workplace.
Sam Bishop is one of the Uk’s leading performance psychologists. Sam works with elite sports men and women as well as top businessmen and women to help them achieve peak performance in their roles.
Mike has worked for nearly two decades in early careers at Barclays and more latterly through his Gen Healthy Minds business working with businesses to deliver wellbeing and performance programmes that support business growth.
George is an international wellbeing speaker, coach and author who has worked with individuals and corporates for over 20 years. He has designed and delivered wellbeing courses, bootcamps and written books on the topic
Below is an overview of your Boost Programme designed to support you to flourish and perform at your best. As you can see, the programme will run throughout 2023 with more details of times of each session later in this brochure. Each Masterclass will either be online or face to face and presented by wellbeing and performance experts George Anderson and Sam Bishop.

Our “Boost your mental health/wellbeing” masterclass will help participants boost their mental wellbeing every day

“Boost your digital wellbeing” masterclass will help participants find balance, switch off from ‘always on’ patterns and reduce digital burnout
• Learn how being ‘always on’ impacts the body and mind and affects sustainable high performance
• Gain practical tips to reduce always on patterns
Create a more positive relationship with technology for healthy high performance
05 Our “Boost your performance – you are not a machine” masterclass will introduce participants to performance psychology and how it can be used in their daily lives.
• We will share interesting case studies of top class athletes and business leaders to bring concepts to life in an interesting and engaging way.
• Explore the “human performance curve”
• Look at how to effectively manage our thoughts and emotions can lead to higher performance
07 Our “Boost your Digital Productivity” masterclass will help participants reclaim time in their day and work more effectively.
• We will uncover how digital distraction impacts your focus
• We will discuss the three different modes of work and how you can use these to be more effective
• Practical advice on reducing digital distractions

Our “Boost your performance – confidence and motivation masterclass looks at how we can overcome mental barriers that stop us performing at our best such as low motivation and low confidence.
• Explore the different barriers to performance and why they occur
• Find simple ways to boost motivation and confidence
• Learn tools and techniques to boost confidence and motivation every day

Our “Boost your strengths” This Masterclass will use the “viacharacter strengths finder” questionnaire to explore participants strengths and we will look at how to use them to become more effective in your work and personal life. During the Masterclass participants will:
Understand the relevance and benefits of these insights.
Learn why playing to your strengths is more important than improving your weaknesses.
Create an action plan for how you can use these strengths more frequently.

Our “Boost your personal brand” workshop helps participants to stand out as well as fit in at work. To truly thrive at work it is important that we seek ways to not only fit in, but also to stand out. Graduates will explore
• the concept of personal branding and why it is important to bring your whole self to work.
• how to develop the 5 Elements of your personal brand and how this can have a positive impact on your career.
• Practical tools and tips for creating your brand presence in your organization and beyond.
•We are all individuals and think and act in different ways so each person going through this programme will take different things from it. The key is that you make it work for you and find the tools and knowledge you can take forward into your career:

• Are willing to give things a go and stick with them (after all it takes 21 days to form a habit!)

• Record your journey– we will be providing you with a journal please ensure you bring this to each session.
