Þetta er sagan um Tak, þegar honum dettur í hug að búa til flugelda og skrautblys.
This is a story about Tak when he gets the idea to manufacture fireworks.

Tak býr til hólk úr pappa og fyllir hann af sprengipúðri. Tak kann margar sprengipúðursformúlur.
Tak makes a cylinder from cardboard and fills it with explosives. Tak knows many formulas for fireworks and explosives.

Pabbi Taks er efnasérfræðingur. Hann kennir Taki margar formúlur, uppskriftir af efnasamböndum og efnahvörfum. Þetta getur verið hættulegt ef maður veit ekki uppá hár hvað maður er að gera.
Tak‘s dad is a chemist. He teaches Tak how to assemble many formulas for chemical reactions and chemical compounds. Doing this is dangerous,if one does not know exactly what he is doing. (efna-sér-fræð+ingur; upp-skrift; efna-samband; efna-hvörf)
Svo fer Tak að prófa það sem hann var að búa til. Þetta er gosbrunnur.
Now Tak tries out his formula. This is called a fountain.

The
fountain is quite a success, Tak thinks. And the light ball, -- quite amusing.

This is called a joker. It shoots colorful lights into the air.

Vonda geimveran sér þegar Tak er að prófa sólablys, sem þeytir upp gulum og rauðum sólum -- sem svífa í loftinu.
Vonda ætlar líka að búa til sólablys með alla vega litum ljóskúlum.
The Evil alien sees Tak when he is trying out his Flying Suns. It hurls up red and yellow suns -- which float in the air.
Evil is also going to make Flying Suns of colorful lights. (geim-vera; sóla-blys; ljós-kúla)
En blysið snýst bara í hringi og ekkert sést nema reykur.
But Evils product only goes in circles and nothing is seen but smoke.
Sprengigeimveran sér Tak prófa fljúgandi disk, sem snýst og svífur upp í loftið.
The Bomb alien sees when Tak is trying out a flying saucer which flies into the air in circles.

flying saucer screws itself down into the mud and Bomby gets mud into his face.

Mynd 2 : Fallhlífin má ekki opnast á leiðinni upp því þá dregur hún heilmikið úr ferðinni og kúlan kemst ekki eins hátt upp.
The parachute should not open up when the torch is escalating into the air, as if that happens, the speed is reduced, and the bulb will not rise as high in the air as supposed.

-Æ, segir Sprengi.-Það er allt of erfitt að búa þetta til. Sprengi ákveður að kaupa fullan kassa af skrauteldum hjá Taki. -- Stærri gerðina. Sprengi tekur einn af flugeldunum úr kassanum og kveikir á.

says: This is far too difficult to make.
Bomby
decides to buy a box of fireworks from Tak -- the bigger size
. Bomby
takes one of the rockets from the box and ignites it.

He throws the match, still lit, behind himself. (sound effect: weeeee)

Eldspýtan lendir beint í flugeldakassanum. Auðvitað kviknar þá í og allt kveikir svo hvað í öðru og springur upp. (leikhljóð: búmm krass píf psyt)
The match ends up in the firework box. Of course some catch fire, and as a chain reaction, one ignites the other. (sound effects: Boom, crash, peef, ). (eld-spýta; flug-elda-kassi; auð-vitað)
Tveir geimkarlar, sem búa á annarri stjörnu, sjá bjarmann af þessu alla leið á sína stjörnu. Þeir segja: -dzz, dzz (sem þýðir: -svona skulum við fá okkur).
Two space guys, who live on another star, see the blaze from this firework show all the way to their star.
They say: dzz, dzz (which means: This we must get !)

Svertingjageimveran á stjörnunni hans Taks er farin að framleiða pýramída skrautsprengjur.
Svertingja fjöldaframleiðir í vél og ætlar að verða rík. Hér er hún að prófa eina pýramídaskrautsprengju. Sprengjan heitir Pýros (/eldur).

Pyramids (fire crackers). Blacky is mass producing his Pyramids and is going to become rich. On the picture we see Blacky try one of his Pyramids. The name of his firecracker is Pyros (/fire). (svertingja-geim-vera; skraut-sprengjur; fjölda-fram-leiða; pýra-mída-skraut-sprengja)
Pýros springur með miklum hvelli og reyk. (leikljóð: BÚMM) Geimverurnar halda niðri í sér hlátrinum. Þær halda að nú verði Svertingja sótug í framan. En svo geta þær ekkert hlegið. Það sést ekki hvort Svertingja er sótug eða ekki.
The Pyros explodes with a big bang and smoke. (sound effects: BOOM !)
The other aliens try not to laugh. They assume that Blacky‘s face becomes black from the smoke.
But this is no laughing matter. We cannot tell whether Blacky‘s face becomes black from the smoke or not.
En nú heyra allir skrítin hljóð: Dzzz dzz dzz dzzzzz. Geimkarlarnir eru komnir á stjörnuna hans Taks.
Now everybody hears peculiar alien sounds: Dzzz dzz dzz dzzzzz The space-guys have arrived on Tak‘s star. (geim-karlar)
Þeir eru ólmir í að kaupa skrautblys eins og þeir sáu þegar allur kassinn sprakk í einu hjá sprengigeimverunni Og Svertingja er fljót að selja þeim. Þeir kveikja á. Svo bíða þau öll í hálftíma, en ekkert gerist.
Eager to buy fireworks like the ones they saw when Bomby‘s whole box exploded.
Blacky immediately sells them his Pyramid. They ignite.
They all wait for half an hour but nothing happens.

Vonda geimveran reynir að selja geimkörlunum ljóskúlu. Kveikurinn er allt of stuttur hjá Vondu. Það kviknar á ljóskúlunni áður en Vonda nær að henda henni upp.
Evil tries to sell the space-guys his Flying Sun.
Evil has made the fuse far too short.
The Flying Sun explodes in his hands, before he can throw it in the air.

have come here to buy fireworks, exactly the same as we saw the blaze of all the way from our star.

Tak sýnir geimkörlunum puðrusól sem hann er að kveikja á. Hún er fest með einum nagla laust í miðjunni, þannig að hún geti snúist.
Tak shows the space-guys a hurling-sun which he is about to ignite.
The hurling sun is pinned with one nail in the center, not too tight, so it can revolve into circles. (puðru-sól)
Svo er kveikt á tveim kveikjum, öðrum að neðan og hinum að ofan, sem hallast aðeins til hliðar og fá þannig skífuna til að snúast.
Þá snýst puðrusólin ofsa hratt og puðrar útúr sér glitrandi ljóskúlum.
The hurling sun spins with great speed and sheds glittering lights.
Then we ignite two different fuses, one on the bottom, the other at the top. They are a bit bent or tilted, so they get the disk spinning.
Sprengi býðst til að framleiða svona sólir handa geimkörlunum. Sprengi athugar ekki að kveikirnir mega ekki vera báðir sömu megin.
snýst þetta ekki.
Svo negldi Sprengi allt of fast á spýturnar, kveikti á.....

On top of that, Bomby pinned the hurling sun too tightly on the pole, -- and ignited....
Bomby offers his production of these kind of suns for the space guys.
Bomby does not understand that the fuses must not be placed both on the bottom. Then it does not spin.
(leikhljóð: puðr-psit) Draslið þaut útí loftið -- spýturnar með. Enginn sá hvert. (leikhljóð: klonk, klonk klikk......)
(sound effents phuph, pseet) The whole junk flew into the air, -- the poles too. No one saw where the stuff went. (sound effects: clonck clonck click....)
Tak
þarf að búa til vél til að framleiða skrautblys. Hann er að moka púðri í vélina. Í hólkana að ofan setur hann ýmis efni sem brenna með mismunandi litum logum.
Tak has to invent a machine to produce fireworks. He is shoveling gun powder into the machine. He puts chemicals, which burns with different colors, into the cylinders on top of the machine. (mis-munandi)
Geimkarlarnir vilja kaupa marga flugeldakassa -- af stærri gerðinni -og fara ánægðir með þá á stjörnuna sína SÖGULOK
