Gasworks Arts Park

Gasworks Arts Park is a vibrant multi-arts precinct producing a year-round program of performing and visual arts events, from development to public presentation. We are situated in a densely populated inner-urban area between the city and the sea, on the site of the former South Melbourne gas plant. The remaining heritage buildings have been converted into art spaces surrounding a green park, which is graced with public sculptures. The precinct encompasses two theatres, two galleries, a café, two workshop rooms, and fifteen resident artist studios. We are an inspiring oasis and gathering place for ideas and creative energy.
