Fundraising Thank You Congratulations to Claire Smith (left), who recently completed a gruelling unsupported ‘Jogle’ challenge from John O' Groats to Lands End for the hospice in memory of Susan Northcott. Claire covered 893 miles in 23 days, 8 hours, 24 minutes and has so far raised over £5,000. (See our next newsletter for the full story) Following emergency surgery on her back, our End of Life Nurse Specialist Vanessa Barents (below) raised nearly £3,000 during her rehabilitation by walking up and down her stairs at home until she reached the equivalent of Mount Everest.
10-year-old Fraser Burnet (above) swam the equivalent of the English Channel - 2,817 lengths of his pool at home - and raised nearly £3,000 for Forest Holme to honour both his Daddy and Grandpa. Roo Wilton (right) and Nina Ingham (far right) both earnt their wings recently by completing a Wing Walk, collectively raising over £3,500 for Forest Holme. 15
