Fundraising Thank You
Congratulations to Claire Smith (left), who recently completed a gruelling unsupported ‘Jogle’ challenge from John O' Groats to Lands End for the hospice in memory of Susan Northcott.
Claire covered 893 miles in 23 days, 8 hours, 24 minutes and has so far raised over £5,000. (See our next newsletter for the full story)

Following emergency surgery on her back, our End of Life Nurse Specialist Vanessa Barents (below) raised nearly £3,000 during her rehabilitation by walking up and down her stairs at home until she reached the equivalent of Mount Everest.
10-year-old Fraser Burnet (above) swam the equivalent of the English Channel - 2,817 lengths of his pool at home - and raised nearly £3,000 for Forest Holme to honour both his Daddy and Grandpa.

Roo Wilton (right) and Nina Ingham (far right) both earnt their wings recently by completing a Wing Walk, collectively raising over £3,500 for Forest Holme.

Poole Bay Classics (below) very kindly donated £300 to the hospice despite their annual summer event at Breamore House being cancelled 3-year-old Ellison (above) due to spent lockdown raising £350 Covid-19. by scootering the equivalent of a marathon before delivering a cake for staff. Laura Dean (right), whose in-laws have been opening their beautiful garden to the public for many years in support of Forest Holme, delivered a donation despite being unable to Vicky Cox (above, right) open the garden took part in a Barclays this year. The Virtual Relay Race and Deans have now raised £350 in memory of raised nearly £10,000 in total for the her step-mum Jane. charity.



Hayley Darmody (below, left) and all her neighbours raised £125 for the hospice by organising the Greenway Crescent Book Stall during lockdown.

Jan Reynolds (right) kindly donated a lovely Cotton Trader hamper to use as a fundraising prize.
Congratulations to Nicky Edmunds (above, left), who won our £300 Trolley Dash at Sainsbury's.


Tony Smith (right) generously bought two new love seat sets of garden furniture for the courtyard garden in memory of his wife Jo.


Jules Dorrington (right) sold homemade chocolate brownies and kindly bought a bird table and two feeders, plus bird food, with the proceeds for Forest Holme.
Mr and Mrs Lawson (left) very generously donated £250 as a thank you for the devoted care the hospice provided for their loved-ones.
Lynne Dinmore raised £115 for by selling beautiful handmade ceramics (right) from a table in her driveway during lockdown.

Dee Notley (left) kindly delivered a toaster, microwave, cushions, biscuits, chocolate, mugs and spoons for staff and visitors to use at the hospice on behalf of Poole Scooter Club. 917
