Host your own ‘Big Brunch’ during October and help your local hospice during these uncertain times.

Hosting a Big Brunch is a great way of bringing together friends, family and colleagues, even when we're apart.

Whether it’s a quiet Sunday with freshly ground coffee and pastries, or a leisurely catch up in a restaurant with your friends, everyone loves brunching!

You decide whether it’s a socially distanced brunch for up to six in your garden, or it’s a virtual brunch for twenty on video call. Make sure that you feel comfortable and are following the latest government advice so we can all stay safe and well.

Follow our easy steps to hosting your own Big Brunch

1. Get your free Big Brunch fundraising pack

Sign up online by clicking on www.forestholmehospice.org.uk/ bigbrunch

2. Choose where and when to hold your Brunch

Invite friends, family and colleagues to join your Big Brunch.

Host a socially distanced brunch by holding a picnic in the park or a garden gathering with your neighbours.

Chat online through a video call or set up a WhatsApp group. You can use Zoom/Microsoft Teams/Facebook/ Skype to chat to those attending. Or simply by telephone.

3. Decide on a menu

Here are some suggestions to get you started:

 Coffee, Tea and Toast  Muffins or Bagels  Bacon / Sausage / Egg Sarnies  Pancakes & Waffles  Full English Breakfast  Fruit Salad  Croissants, Pastries, Scones and Breads  Yogurt with Granola or other Grains  Smoothies  Freshly squeezed Orange Juice  Cold Meats, Cheeses, Yogurt with Honey Be sure to include vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and sugar free options.

4. Host your Brunch

5. Send in your donations
