Light Up A Life

Due to current social distancing restrictions, this year’s Light Up A Life event will be taking place online.

Please join us and enjoy a virtual mixture of readings, prayers, songs, poems and remembrance by visiting our website www.forestholmehospice.org.uk or via www.facebook.com/forestholme at 6.30pm on November 26th.

You will find a Service Programme for this special event on pages 19 - 23 of this newsletter and a Dedication Star enclosed.

Tree of Remembrance

Each year at Christmas time, our Light up a Life appeal provides the local community with the opportunity to dedicate a star on our Tree of Remembrance.

All donations made during this appeal will support patients and families in need of our care over the festive season.

This year the tree will be located in Falkland Square in Poole Town Centre, so if you would like to make a dedication to a loved-one on a star, you can visit us in our pop-up shop situated in the new Eco Hub by the lift on the 1st floor of the Dolphin Shopping Centre. Alternatively, you can complete the form on page 13 and your loved one’s name will be handwritten onto a Light up a Life star and displayed on the tree.

The pop-up shop will also be selling Christmas Cards, festive merchandise and handcrafted items and will be open daily (except Sundays) between 10.30am - 3.30pm from Thursday 26th November - Wednesday 18th December.
