Discover the Coffs Coast How much do you love a fantastic gi card to use where you want? That’s what Dine & Discover vouchers are. A gi card to encourage the community to get out and about to support tourism and hospitality businesses.
T
he Dine & Discover vouchers have been made available by the NSW Government to any NSW resident over the age of 18 and come as four separate vouchers (two for dining and two for discovering) each valued at $25. If you haven’t jumped in to use your vouchers yet, the deadline has been extended until July 31 to explore the local area using them. If you haven’t applied for vouchers yet, you are still able to at www.service.nsw.gov.au. The Coffs Coast is a holiday paradise, with many opportunities to play, taste, explore and experience. You may have found it easy to use your ‘Dine’ vouchers at one of the many local restaurants, cafes, bars, wineries, pubs or clubs that have registered, but now is a great time to ‘Discover’ the Coffs Coast and the many activities we are lucky to have right here on our doorstep. Here are some of the ways to use your vouchers: Birch, Carroll and Coyle Cinemas – enjoy a new release or two at the multi-cinema complex. C-Change Adventures – kayak, standup paddle board or take in a tour, exploring the waterways and some of its interesting inhabitants. Club 300 Bowling – strikes and spares, pins and balls – it’s all part of the fun as you try your hand at ten-pin bowling. Coffs Harbour Butterfly House – butterflies,
insects, dinosaurs and fairies are all part of the mix when you interact with this collection of displays and critters. Coffs Skydivers – soar through the air with local professionals from Australia’s highest skydive landing on one of Coffs pristine beaches. Dolphin Marine Conservation Park – learn about the interesting life of some of our amazing sea creatures including penguins, dolphins, turtles and more. Jetty Dive Centre – explore the many dive sites, the amazing creatures and the beautiful waters of the Solitary Islands Marine Park, a rich biodiversity where tropical and cool waters meet. Jetty Memorial Theatre – live shows, cultural events and visiting artists, there’s a full program of shows to enjoy all year round. Majestic Cinemas (Sawtell) – sit back in the restored historic cinema and watch a new release or an old favourite. Montem Bike Tours – offering guided bike tours and bike hire for plenty of fun memory making moments to share with your friends and family. All skill levels. National Cartoon Gallery – a unique opportunity to view cartoons from all around the world, this one of a kind gallery housed in a WWII bunker delivers laughs and surprises for all ages. Precision Helicopters – a bucket list experience, travel by helicopter to the South Solitary Islands Lighthouse, tour the historic
buildings and learn about the islands, taking in the magnificent coastal views as you fly back Steve McEwan’s Reptile World – ever wanted to smile with a crocodile, hold a snake or get up close to a lizard. The amazing world of reptiles is sure to delight. The Big Banana Fun Park – visit Australia’s original ‘Big Thing’ with toboggan rides, laser tag, mini golf, ice skating, giant slides and more.
