The main objective of the new Engineers Europe Advisory Group (EEAG) is to provide a unified voice for engineers at a European level.

Key priorities for the group include a greater cooperation with employers’ organisations, enhancing the status of engineers and ensuring sufficient engineers to meet future demands and to explore the implications of digitalisation for the engineering education and profession.

On behalf of the Faculty, Prof. Bert Lauwers signed the Advisory group’s Letter of intent, confirming the Faculty’s commitment to achieve these common objectives.

In her speech on the employability of engineers, Prof. Greet Langie presented the PREFER project on employability of engineering graduates.
