NANJING UNIVERSITY OF AERONAUTICS & ASTRONAUTICS AND KU LEUVEN SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

On 25 June 2018, a delegation of NUAA, headed by Chancellor Prof. Yongan Zheng, was welcomed at KU Leuven by Prof. Luc Sels, Rector and Prof. Gerard Govers, Vice-Rector of the Science, Engineering and Technology Group. At the end of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed, expressing the intention to establish a cooperative relationship in the areas of education and research, more specifically in the fields of science, engineering and technology, including the exchange of academic staff and students and the promotion of joint research projects. Within the framework of this memorandum, Prof. Bert Lauwers, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Technology, has been invited as a guest professor in Nanjing.

NUAA is ranked in the national top 100 universities in China. At two campuses, more than 27,000 students are enrolled in 46 undergraduate, 127 master and 52 doctoral programmes, mainly in the areas of Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical, Electromechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, Economy and Management. Each year dozens of international scholars and exchange students come to NUAA.
