Greetings Every year we hold our charity ball, the only fund raiser of our society but this year is special we have reached a milestone; we are celebrating the silver anniversary of our organization, the Philippine Medical Society of Greater Philadelphia Thanks to the undying support of our members, donors , sponsors and friends and the relentless efforts of our officers, we make this event possible. In the last twenty five years, we have accomplished various humanitarian programs. Most recently, we provided financial aid to victims of typhoon Haiyan for immediate relief as well as for on-going reconstruction of devastated areas. We also sponsored Will’s Eye Hospital to do free eye screening at the St. Augustine Church for the Filipino community and parishioners. Lets not forget the involvement of our organization with Medical MIssions in the Philippines and yearly flu vaccination for the Filipino community of Greater Philadelphia. In order for us to continue on with these laudable projects, I admonish our young members to be active and get involved. We can’t deny that most of the membership are in their twilight years, retired or soon to be retired. So the young DrKlldares, we depend on you to keep the organization alive. Mabuhay ang PMSGP.

Your organization have been actively aware of the community needs by sponsoring medical missions, free health screenings including the administration of flu shots and donating financial support to victims of natural disasters, Furthermore, through the leadership of your president, you continuously provide valuable medical and educational information to your members and invited guests of the community by the promotion of professional and leadership forums and other opportunities.
