Start your day every Friday at Feilding Farmers Market from 8.30am on the quadrant in picturesque Manchester Square. Just down the street, in the heart of Feilding’s CBD is the livestock market. Feilding Sale Yards has been luring farmers with their stock into the town centre from across the country since the 1880s. Every Friday at 11am you can join the Sale Yard tour, guided by experienced and knowledgeable local farmers who will lead you to the source of Feilding’s Friday trademark “smell of money”. Get ready for the experience of a lifetimes as the action unfolds before you. A cacophony of sound and sight - auctioneers shouting above bleating sheep, mooing cows, and barking dogs, followed by a stream of farmers and stock agents. Keep pace in the sheep pens to watch the auction process in action and take a seat in the state of the art cattle rostrum.
