COMMUNITIES OF TRUST COMMITTEE The Fairfax County Communities of
60 public safety agencies, community
organized and partnered with community
in December 2014, to help build
civic organizations. During the 2020

between public safety agencies and
the communities they serve. Its diverse membership, which is open to anyone
who supports its mission, includes over
members, faith groups, businesses and COVID-19 Pandemic, COTC sponsored the “Help from the Heart” campaign
collecting and donating thousands of
pounds of personal hygiene items and
food to community food pantries. COTC
members and organizations making
masks made and donated to hospitals,
schools, health departments, and other non-profit organizations. COTC works with other jurisdictions to expand its
model and to bring new programs into
marginalized communities while working with at risk kids.
