Community Reporting Service

AT YOUR SERVICE

During the pandemic our department quickly adapted to handle calls for service in a safe and socially distant manner. To limit personal contact and effectively address non-emergency community issues, officers staffed Community Reporting Service positions at each district station to handle calls and write police reports for community members over the phone. Patrol officers were also encouraged to handle calls over the phone that did not require an mmediate response.
