A very special group of volunteers known as the Chief’s Council on Diversity Recruitment is essential to helping our department recruit and increase diversity among its officers, civilians, and volunteers. Dozens of leaders across our diverse community serve on the council. This group plays a critical role in influencing and steering our recruitment efforts to represent all ethnic, racial, and cultural groups in Fairfax County.
