The closing ceremony of FAMUN 2016 celebrated the hope in the possibilities that the future holds, idea that marked the speeches of every member of the organization. The emotional speech of the Secretariat emphasized the importance of partnership and the respect to the differences. They also highlighted the dedication and hard work of all FAMUN team. The Secretariat’s tears of emotion and hope thrilled the audience that gave them a standing ovation. In the award ceremony, the celebration was intensified every time a delegate was called to be recognized by their hard work and commitment in these five days of conference. In their speech, the committee’s directors underlined the advantages brought by the UN4MUN Approach. The last party of FAMUN 2016
THE SUCCESS OF THE EVENT WAS CELEBRATED AT THE GAME OF MODELS PARTY By Lucas Valença
After a beautiful Closing Ceremony, directors and college delegates went to the last party of the event, the Game of Models, which took place at República Alameda. The party was a celebration to the end of FAMUN 2016 and directors, delegates, staff and Press Team members could share their impressions of the 4th FAMUN edition. Participants took the chance to remember the best, the most funny and even the tensest moments of FAMUN. Delegates from other MUNs also came to the party, where they could say goodbye to the organizing team and invite them to other Brazilian MUNs that are partners with FAMUN. With all kinds of music, drinks and food, the participants were able to enjoy a great party and go out in style. At the party, the directors noticed that all the hard work paid-off and now they prepare themselves to another year full of trainings and hard work, to make a FAMUN 2017 even better than the 2016 edition!

After a lot of work, FAMUN 2016 has come to its end! These were five unforgettable days, in which everyone certainly taught and learned a little bit more about the world of simulation. The FAMUN 2016 team believes that none of this could have been possible if we did not have the participation of each one of you. We are very pleased to finally see the success of FAMUN 2016 and we are conscious that you, delegates, represented its spirit! These days proved that FAMUN is an event made by friends for friends and also an opportunity to learn together and share our accomplishments. On behalf of the entire team, FAMUN 2016 would like to thank the great privilege of receiving every one of you, because we thought and prepared this conference with a lot of dedication and commitment. Finally, we would like to say that this is not a farewell, but a “see you soon”! Stay tuned for the upcoming news!
