DINING DEALS: THE RITZCARLTON ABU DHABI, GRAND CANAL Friday Brunch at Giornotte As the temperature drops, the excitement is being ramped up at Giornotte’s fabulous Friday Brunch. To keep the fun as fresh as the food, the venue has introducing an all-new entertainment line-up, with a troupe of resident dancers moving to a different beat each month, thrilling the crowd with their smooth moves and acrobatic routines. Children will delight in the sweet wonders of Dolce café with candy floss, popcorn, waffles and chocolate fountains while parents explore the cheese room and beverage stations. Brunch is followed by an after-party at Sorso bar with a selection of handcrafted beverages and resident DJ on the decks. Every Friday from 1pm to 4pm at Giornotte restaurant. AED295++ with soft drinks; AED395++ with house beverages; AED495++ with bubbly. AED147.50++ for children aged six to 12-years-old. Under six-year-olds dine for free.
Tuesday Ladies’ Night at The Forge A grown-up ladies’ night at The Forge that whispers rather than shouts and suggests a sophisticated kind of fun in a refined setting with a focus on healthy gourmet food and crafted beverages. Regular a la carte menu is also available. Tuesdays, 7pm to 11pm for AED195++ per person for a 3-course set menu and two house beverages.
No-Mobile Dinner Challenge Bring conversation and good company back to the dinner table, with a fun challenge for Wednesday evening diners at The Forge, Li Jiang and Mijana – lock away your mobile phone for the duration of your meal, and earn 15 per cent savings on your bill. They’ll provide your table with a lockable box in which to store your phones (it’s transparent, so you’ll still be able to see calls or messages as they come in). All you have to do is resist the temptation to open the box until the end of the meal. Easy? We’ll see - challenge accepted!
