About Us

Integra was formed in 2018 as a result of recurring feedback from our clients that the UAE and broader Middle East market lacked an independent real estate and development management consultancy that was able to deliver fully integrated, end-to-end development solutions, from cradle to grave.

While it was recognised that there are various specialists operating in the field, there are few firms that are able to offer the complete development management solution. For many years now, our alliance partners have all been working in collaboration in one way or another, via associations, partnerships and joint ventures.

However, in 2018 we decided to formalise this collaboration by establishing a formal development management alliance. Integra aggregates the collective experience, capability and capacity of the directors and staff from three leading UAE based real estate and property development consultants, in addition to a number of industry experts.

The strength of Integra is derived from our unsurpassed capability to deliver fully integrated, end-to-end real estate and property development solutions.

Most importantly, though, our real estate and development services are totally independent of the supply chain, providing you with completely impartial advice, management and delivery services.

Paul has spearheaded development in the Middle East since 2000, having been involved in some of the most iconic developments across the Gulf, including The Palms, Burj Khalifa, NYUAD, Saadiyat Island, Raha Beach, Reem Island, KIZAD, and a multitude of residential, hospitality, institutional, retail, leisure and industrial projects. For the past two years he has been the CEO of Integra where he has provided overall strategic and commercial direction, in addition to leading our development management team.

Paul has also held executive roles at global professional services firms over the past 30 years, including most recently Global Market Leader at GHD, where he led over 1,500 architects, engineers and construction managers, with a real estate services’ annual revenue of $250 million for some $8 billion of projects delivered annually across the globe.

Kevin is the Managing Director of Advisory for Valustrat, and has more than 35 years’ experience, combining a strong history of professional business advisory gained working for world-class firms such as KPMG and OC&C Strategy Consultants, with a variety of positions in operational management.

Prior to joining ValuStrat he spent six years at EC Harris leading their Strategy and Transformation initiatives within a built asset and social infrastructure vertical – with a focus on strategy development, business planning and programme management of large complex international commissions

He holds an MBA from Bradford University Management Centre.

Declan is the Managing Director and Group Head of Real Estate for Valustrat, and brings over 26 years of international experience. He is a Professional Member of The Royal Institutions of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), UK as well as a Professional Member of The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (MSCSI).

Declan’s advisory and valuation experience encompasses a broad range of reporting on all asset types for lending, audit, legal & transactional requirements. He has dealt with an extensive variety of clients including government entities, financial institutions, multinational & local corporations and private individuals.

Mike Cairney DIRECTOR

A veteran professional in Project Management with over 35 years of hands on experience, including the establishment of the EC Harris Project Management business between 2004-14, and subsequently a founding partner of PMK Consult.

His career includes managing some 80 major projects at all stages, from conception to handover and operation.

Mike has directed a number of the mega schemes in the region, including the completion of iconic projects such as the Landmark Tower, Central Market New Souk (Abu Dhabi World Trade Centre) and the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

Mike has worked on several other prestigious projects around the globe including the Xerox Production Plant in Dundalk Ireland, two major facilities for the Cadbury Chocolate Company in the UK and Poland; and Primary Data Centres in the UK and UAE.

A seasoned international project management and real estate professional with extensive experience in building and managing multi-cultural teams to deliver a wide variety of real estate projects.

Prior to his current position, Kevin was the Regional Real Estate leader for a major multi-national corporation. In this role Kevin took the lead on all aspects of the portfolio management, asset management and delivery of significant construction projects around Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.

A chartered membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICSManagement Consultancy), Kevin was a founding partner of PMK Consult.

Kevin has a proven track record of leading international estate portfolio transformation programmes and large construction projects, delivering results that improve business performance in complex business and market environments.

Valuations & Advisory

Khurram leads ValuStrat’s execution team for the Advisory business and possesses strong analytical and execution skills in the areas of strategy, research, financial modelling and business valuation.

He has successfully led a large number of advisory consulting engagements across multiple industries. Khurram also has significant experience in equity research and has worked as Research Analyst for Timescape Capital (a NYSE hedge fund).

Pawel Banach is General Manager of ValuStrat’s Qatar operations. He has 15 years of experience in real estate advisory, investment advisory, asset valuation and commercial due diligence.

Prior to joining ValuStrat Qatar, Mr. Banach was Head of Valuation & Research at Land Sterling in Dubai, UAE. Before moving to the GCC region, his past experience includes roles with international companies such as Deloitte, Savills, Knight Frank and Prologis.

Jang has over 24 years of extensive experience in the UK and KSA in various facets of real estate. He is ValuStrat’s Director & Head of Real Estate for Saudi Arabia and manages the firm’s KSA business for all real estate valuations, market research, construction project monitoring and technical building condition due diligence.

Prior to joining ValuStrat, Jang was Head of the Valuation and Corporate Investment Solutions team for Colliers International in KSA, prior to which he had over 17 years in London, U.K. in various real estate advisory firms.

Chris is Chairman of PMKConsult, in addition to Director at HLM Architects, London, where he leads HLM’s Custodial, Justice and Defence sector. He is hands-on in many of HLM's flagship projects and a champion of social architecture.

His complete dedication to design excellence carries on outside the practice, with lectures and seminars in healthcare, custodial and defence facility design across the world, whilst leading the debate on current issues and challenges through thought leadership programmes in HLM's Foresight and Innovation Group.

Martin is an experienced investment banking and financial professional, and PMKConsult Director, with over 20 years’ experience in the Middle East region. An Arabic speaker who has spent 15 years working with the RBS Group, Emirates NBD, Coutts & Co and UBS, before establishing his own consultancy in 2009, he provides a range of strategic investment advisory services.

During his 25+ year career, Matthew has gained significant experience across all phases of design, delivery and project management, successfully delivering multiple residential, commercial, retail and resort developments plus a plethora of civil, water, wastewater and environmental infrastructure projects. Of note and drawing upon all of this experience, Matthew was in part responsible for the master plan and design of two of the famous man-made ‘Palm islands’ in the United Arab Emirates.

An accomplished and awardwinning Chartered Engineer, with over 28 years’ experience of MEP design and construction and a wealth of knowledge within Building Services and ITC systems and Integration.

An expert in the completion or review of the designs and construction works of hospitals and healthcare facilities, data centres, airports, hotels and leisure facilities, residential developments, retail and commercial.

Jon has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, with 9 years in the UAE, focusing primarily on the commercial aspects procurement, contracts management and contract administration.

His fields of expertise include cost estimating / planning, value engineering, risk management, procurement methodology and implementation, contract drafting, post-contract cost management, contract administration, settlement of final accounts and claims management.

Having held senior technology roles as LeisureCorp Dubai and Al Barari Developments, Dubai, Michael now runs a consultancy practice focused on strategy and implementation of advanced technology solutions for major infrastructure and asset owners.

With a degree in ICT and masters in project/program management, Michael has project managed numerous ERP / SCADA / ICT system roll-outs in the property sector, understanding the critical role that technology plays in contemporary real estate developments in the Middle East and internationally.

With almost 30 years’ as a Project Manager, Paul has developed a reputation for successfully completing the hardest of projects for international clientele such as international data centres, education, broadcast and production studios and other technically advanced facilities.

He brings to Integra extensive experience in risk and value management, education consultancy, event management and facility management.

Richard is a professional Civil Engineer holding with over 22 years' international experience. Saif is an experienced Project Manager with over 16 years’ experience on large multidiscipline property infrastructure projects, programme development, project systems implementation, value management, financial control and delivery management. Leigh’s experience includes healthcare, education, defense, museums, and commercial projects ranging from AED 10 million to AED 1.2 billion.

Andy, with over 30 years in the construction industry, has amassed extensive experience over a wide range of projects, working as a contractor, client, consultant project manager and project director.
