Kimberly Nicole Harris
Silver Honoree Kimberly Harris attended the University of Tulsa in Oklahom Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® on March 28, 1998. While an undergra Alpha, Mrs. Harris served as the president of the Theta Xi Chapter, the chapter historian, and the chapter Ivy Leaf reporter. She graduated in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, a minor in Spanish, and a certificate in African American studies.
Following graduation, Mrs. Harris attended the University of Tulsa College of Law where her focus was advocacy and non-profit law. After graduating from law school, Mrs. Harris quickly transitioned to a career in Human Resources. Mrs. Harris is passionate about helping organizations provide the best work environment for all employees through education, leadership development, and impactful conflict resolution.

Mrs. Harris has served the Omicron Mu Omega chapter in many capacities including leadership as cochairman of the History and Archives committee, chairman of the Public Relations committee, and the Ivy leaf reporter. Currently, she serves as the Chair of Omicron Mu Omega’s Risk Management committee.
In addition to her service in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® , Mrs. Harris is a dedicated volunteer with the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas. She has served as a troop leader for all Girl Scout levels. Currently, she is the Junior leader for Troop 8346.
Mrs. Harris is the proud legacy of Omicron Mu Omega chapter golden member Anne Young and Eugene Young, III. She has one brother, Eugene Young, IV, and one sister Omicron Mu Omega chapter member Mika Young. In her free time, Mrs. Harris and her wonderful and supportive husband of almost 19 years, Kristopher act as the official chauffeurs for their three beautiful, brilliant, and busy children Trinity (16), Kristopher (14), and Charity (11).
