Her career for the past 21 years has been as a caregiver, patient ad Nursing in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare facilities in t is presently employed as a Senior Clinical Delegation Coordinato of Blue Cross and Blue Shield. For the past 9 years, she has been over the nursing departments at behavioral health facilities and a strong advocate for mental health awareness encouraging others to refocus on selfcare to reduce the stigma that so many people experience.

Ms. Hamilton is a member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas. She has been married for 19 years to Demorrio T. Hamilton. They have four beautiful children: Devin, Christopher, Nicholas, and Alayna. She is a legacy that comes from a large family of strong men and women affiliated with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® and other Greek letter fraternities that exude strength and dignity and promote education and community service.
