THIS & THAT TENNIS EVENTS & INTERNATIONAL DINNER ALTERNATIVES The Falls Club Championships and other events are on hold until it is safe to play as normal. The International Dinner and Dance Committee, a non-tennis event for the whole community, decided (via zoom) that although the Dinner had to be cancelled, it was important to do something to benefit the community. After brainstorming, it was decided that this year the committee’s goals would be: 1) Creating a recipe book of all the home-country dishes, with a photo collage of families enjoying their traditional meal at home, and 2) Building a free resident, business-to-business register, with emphasis on restaurants, catering and chefs being hurt by the pandemic. (This will be on a password-protected webpage to prevent abuse.)
