Master Board Actions
Approvals:
East Coast Mulch proposal in the amount of $40,000.00. The proposal includes supply, deliver and install mulch at the Clubhouse, Sheridan Entrance, Guardhouses, both Sides of Ficus Hedge, and allofthe Common Areas.
The flower Coleus to be used in the next annual flower rotation. Perenials will be installed starting next year.
“The Pressure Cleaning Man” in the amount of $89,629.65 annually to pressure clean all sidewalks in the community.
Landscape Service Professional “Mitigation Plan 3” proposal in the amount of $58,982.00. This proposal includes the removal and replacement of 52 trees that have been mandated by the City of Pembroke Pines or were damaged by necessary irrigation repairs.
Florida Sidewalk Solutions proposal for the common area sidewalk shaving in the amount of $9,508.48. This is for 115 locations to remedy potential trip hazards.
Concrete Works and Paving proposal for the common area sidewalk replacements in the amount of $57,865.00. These are for potential trip hazards that can not be remedied by shaving.This is for 48 locations.
Concrete Works and Paving proposal for the Taft Street sidewalk repairs in the amount of $3,780.00.
Sheridan irrigation repairs with an expenditure not to exceed $23,000.00 and to include a sleeve replacement. This requires bore drilling underneath the Sheridan entrance at 136 th Avenue.
The board welcomed our new general manager Nestor Hermida. Nestor was Senior Property Manager at Sunset Lakes Master Association, Inc. for nine years. He comes to us with experience in managing major projects.
Also new to us is Marta Tobon. She is the Accounting Admin. She has been with Castle in the Accounting department for close to 7 years.
Parking in Pembroke Falls? Many residents have received citations in the past few months. Here is a reminder of the rules.
Parking is not Allowed Anytime:
On the roadway side of another parkedvehicle, (double parking). On crosswalks. On sidewalks. In front of driveways or mailboxes. On grass or swales. In the wrong direction. Within intersections. Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant. Within 20 feet of an intersection or street corner. On and/or adjacent to curves In such a way that blocksor creates a hazard for other vehicles, including emergency vehicles.
