PEST CONTROL

Inside: a 360° view of the Group

is a magazine produced by all the employees of the Elis group. Its content is exclusively intended for internal use and not for wider distribution. Editor-in-chief: Charlotte Drapeau. Graphic design: Claire Galloux. Reproduction prohibited. Exclusive property of the Elis Group – Photos may differ from actual products – ELIS SERVICES – SAS (simplified joint stock company) with share capital of €16,000,075 – 5, boulevard Louis Loucheur, 92210 Saint-Cloud, France – Nanterre Trade & Companies Register no. 693 001 091

THE FIRST PART OF 2025 was marked by several positive factors for our Group.

Our safety indicators improved significantly: the lost-time workplace accident frequency rate decreased by 25% in the first quarter, in line with the progress made in 2024. Our financial indicators were positive and we expect to achieve our fullyear targets. Group revenue was up +3.6% compared to 2024. Organic growth was +2.5%, compared to +5.2% for the full year in 2024. This slowdown is explained by an unfavourable calendar effect and a lower contribution from price increases in a context of weaker inflation. This trend, anticipated since the summer of 2024, led us to launch several initiatives to boost organic growth:

Our sales force was strengthened in most of our regions, with more than 250 new salespeople joining Elis

Action plans to improve the quality of service are already producing results: the Satisfelis index improved from 89.4% to 89.7%. Backorders in flat linen: 2% in 2025 vs. 2.7% in 2024, the rate of lost revenue fell from 5.7% in march 2024 to 5% in march 2025.

In this economic and geopolitical environment that is not very favourable, to say the least, our efforts are crucial!

Pest Control, the focus of this issue, is a perfect illustration of this trend:

Our Satisfelis score reached 90% for the first time

Our customer loyalty improved

Our sales force doubled, with currently over 90 employees.

Thanks to the passionate and committed teams of the business unit, Elis has become a recognised player in Pest Management, with annual growth of more than 20% in the past three years. I hope that the following pages will enable you to better understand the keys to this success.

USE OF ALL-ELECTRIC

TRUCKS

On the occasion of the European Laundry Open Day, Elis opened to the public three of its facilities in the Czech Republic: Slavkov u Brna, Lanškroun and Kralovice. Students of all ages and journalists were able to visit behind the scenes of the industrial laundry business, from decontamination to rental services, in a circular economy approach. Thank you to all the teams for their warm welcome!

SEVERAL OTHER GROUP COUNTRIES ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THIS DAY, in particular France. Thank you to all the teams involved in the organisation of this day and showcasing our business lines.

In Switzerland, Elis is implementing more sustainable logistics. New electric lorries, perfectly adapted to urban distribution, are now in operation. Their autonomy can reach 420 km, representing concrete progress in attaining our climate targets.

THE GROUP’S STRATEGY IS BASED ON AN APPROACH OF INTERNALISING THE FLEET, in order to better control operational issues and the quality of customer service. Today, 95% of our fleet is internally operated by Elis. A fully-fledged alternative fleet: 562 low-emission logistics vehicles.

DENMARK ANOTHER AWARD FOR THE “WORKWEAR TO WORKWEAR” (W2W) PROJECT

In Denmark, the W2W project, focused on textile recycling, received another award, this time from Børsen magazine. This award confirms Elis’s commitment to sustainable circular solutions.

ELIS MADE ITS FIRST ADVERTISING FILM TO BE BROADCAST ON SOCIAL MEDIA to promote the project and strengthen Elis’s profile in the workwear sector. This film embodies our conviction: workwear can carry meaning, commitment and innovation. It adopted a new tone, with an intentionally offbeat publicity video, far from the traditional conventions of the sector. Check out the back cover to find out more!

In Madrid, Elis Spain and KHAMA Hotel organised “The Perfect Bed”, an original competition bringing together more than 100 professionals in the hotel sector. A great tribute to a behind-the-scenes job that contributes to excellence in hospitality.

WE ARE MOVING OFFICE: ELIS MOVES TO LA DÉFENSE

Group headquarters will move at the end of September/early October to La Défense, at the heart of Europe’s main business district. This new, more modern and dynamic environment will support the company’s growth and foster collaboration between teams. Elis will also have its own building.

We will give you more details when the time comes.

ELIS MEXICO: A COMPLETE REBRAND!

SWEDEN A NEW FACILITY IN HUSKVARNA

A brand new mat washing facility was opened in Lyckås, close to Huskvarna. This modern platform serves more than 7,000 addresses in the regions of Småland, Östergötland, Blekinge and Öland, with a processing capacity of 120 tonnes per week. The team welcomed 11 new colleagues to support this ambitious development.

A NEW CONTRACT IN THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR

Elis Sweden signed a four-year framework agreement with Praktikertjänst, a major healthcare player. This contract, worth SEK 3.3 million (€280,500) covers entrance mats, workwear and hygiene solutions, strengthening our presence in the Swedish market.

Elis in Mexico has achieved a major milestone in its integration within the Group. All premises, trucks and visible equipment now proudly display the Elis brand. This visual transformation marks a significant turning point in the consolidation of our international image. The next step: the official move to the elis. com website to further reinforce the profile of the Elis brand around the world. Bravo to the teams that worked on this successful transition.

PROOF OF VISIT, TRANSPARENCY TO INCREASE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

The result of a collaboration between the teams on the ground (notably the Rennes and Birmingham sites) and the Elis Connect team, the objective of the Proof of Visit (POV) is to provide more transparency to our customers thanks to immediate traceability of our visits. Each customer is informed of an agent's visit in real time thanks to the validation of a single-use QR code. A PDF report is made available in MyElis with the option of an email notification. This report can contain photos taken by the agent if deemed necessary by the latter, for example to prove the change of a mat. If a service is not possible, the agent can specify the reasons and take a photo if needed. The customer is notified immediately. This solution is included in Elis’s basic service offer.

A NEW DESIGN FOR LADYBOX

Since its launch at the end of 2023, Ladybox has become a feature of many women’s washrooms. With its two compartments that can hold up to 125 period products, it offers an immediate solution to unexpected events and the fight against period povertyin schools and associations. Today, Ladybox has evolved: it has a new design with updated dimensions and softer contours to enable better integration. The new elegant black colour perfectly matches the Phoenix range, paving the way for new opportunities.

ELIS CLEANROOM OPENS A LOCATION IN SINGAPORE, OUR 31ST COUNTRY

Singapore is a top-tier hub for the microelectronic and pharmaceutical industries, supported by adapted infrastructures, highly-qualified labour and a strategic geographic position. The presence of industrial giants such as Micron, GlobalFoundries, STMicroelectronics, Novartis, Roche and AbbVie highlight the importance of this country for these sectors. Since March 2025, Elis Cleanroom has been established in Singapore with a sales team, as well as a site dedicated to the distribution of cleanroom workwear. A collaboration has been set up with Wonway, a Malaysian company now integrated into Elis Cleanroom. It carries out the management, logistics, coordination and maintenance of cleanroom workwear, enabling cost savings and thereby strengthening our competitiveness and accelerating our development on the Singaporean market.

WORKWEAR MANAGEMENT: DAIMLER BUSES HAS CHOSEN ELIS

Elis Germany won a strategic call for tenders and will welcome Daimler Buses among its new workwear customers. From 1 July 2025, our Augsbourg and Dietzenbach sites will supply garments to 3,600 workers. In anticipation of this excellent collaboration, the teams had already launched preparations for fittings even before the final decision. This success was made possible thanks to the efficient synergy between the sales teams and customer services. And this may only be the start: our site in Ligny (France) has also attracted the attention of Daimler Buses… Stay tuned!

SOLIDARITY AND PERFORMANCE AFTER THE FIRE AT THE LANDSTUHL PLANT

Following a major fire at the plant in Landstuhl, the teams at Elis Germany displayed exemplary efforts. Fortunately, no one was injured. In less than 48 hours, 98% of delivery capacity was able to be reinstated! Thanks to the reactive teams, a hall in Kaiserslautern was transformed into a temporary sorting and distribution site, with a line dedicated to residential linen set up in record time. Employees did not hesitate to travel to sites up to 250km away, staying in hotels to ensure continuity of service.

GAME, SET AND MATCH IN GERMANY AND FRANCE!

After an excellent performance in the Hamburg Open (17–24 May) as the official clothing partner, Elis also scored points at Roland-Garros. In France, our teams worked to supply the players’ linen, towels, bath sheets and face cloths, plus mats, water bottles and hygiene appliances.

In Germany, Elis caused sensation in the Fan Zone by hosting a bustling stand and an exceptional visitor: Boris Becker, in person for an exclusive interview!

A double feat for Elis, which once again demonstrated its expertise... on all surfaces!

PEST CONTROL A decade of success, on the road to new challenges

Over the past 10 years, Elis’s Pest Control business unit has pursued ongoing transformation and has constantly strengthened its business model, in a market that is growing by 5% to 6% per year. Its growth trend fully reflects its ambition and ability to innovate. Today, the objective is clear: consolidate its position as challenger, accelerate its growth and market share gains, all while innovating to stand out.

x 2

In 2024, development accelerated in Belgium and Luxembourg thanks to the acquisition of the company ECOB, which strengthens the footprint of the BU in Northern Europe.

In 2025, a new step is being taken with the opening of Latvia, where the Pest Control activity is starting up with the integration of the company PROFILAKSE. Elis therefore turns a new page with pest control in the Baltic countries.

ORGANIC GROWTH AND ACQUISITION STRATEGY

In less than 10 years, Elis Pest Control has risen to be among the top 5 sector players in the majority of countries where the activity operates. “Over the past three years, the revenue of the Pest Control business has more than doubled; this fast growth was driven by a combination of targeted acquisitions and strong organic growth. Our ambition: to increase the density of our footprint in countries where we are already active, while exploring new high potential markets for Elis.” explains our head of the Pest Control business unit, Alexia Dimitri.

France currently represents more than 50% of revenue, followed by Italy, Spain and Ireland. The countries are recording constant growth thanks to a strong marketing effort and strategic investments.

More recently launched in the Netherlands, the business model is already demonstrating its operational excellence, prepared to meet the demands of the most complex customers. Furthermore, Elis Pest Control is fully aligned with the Group’s multiservice strategy. “By enhancing Elis’s global offer, the solution paves the way for new commercial opportunities for our teams and acts as a real growth accelerator for the Group.” adds Alexia Dimitri.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE STRATEGY

Given the technical level of the service, Elis Pest Control reinforces the expertise of its regional technical centres with specialised teams dedicated to the Pest Control service

“Today, there are more than 400 specialised technicians working in more than 60 technical centres, allowing us to respond efficiently to the demands of all types of customers, including the strictest and most regulated (agrifood, pharmaceutical industries, etc.).” says Alexia.

The proof is in the remarkable performances of the Satisfelis index: a customer satisfaction rate of 90% for all geographical areas measured. This approach of continually driving improvement, the expertise and professionalism of the teams are largely

“In just 10 years, our teams have attained a high level of expertise, making us a benchmark in the sector. A collective success ,that we can be proud of.” Alexia adds.

ELIS’S MULTI-SERVICE STRATEGY

A major asset for the Pest Control BU is that thousands of customers have already entrusted Elis with their linen, workwear, washroom and cleanroom needs. Taking advantage of this existing relationship to develop crossselling and reinforce collaboration between Elis teams is a strategic priority. Significant synergies are being created in several countries, leading to new contracts being signed, in particular in France and in the Netherlands, where the roll-out of the CRM tool eForce will help coordination between the sales teams. “Our ambition is clear: to let all our customers know that Elis also offers a pest control solution — a service that is now essential, even bound by regulation, in several sectors. Each customer-facing employee has a key role to play in promoting this offer and making it a growth lever”, concludes Alexia.

STRATEGY FOR CONSOLIDATION OF THE OFFER AND INNOVATION

The marketing team for the pest control offer, under the leadership of Joséphine Volt, is continuing work to consolidate it, with the goal to efficiently cover all existing services on the market in all our regions.

Innovation naturally plays a central role in this strategy. Like the solutions deployed in the washroom segment, Pest Control is entering a new era thanks to the IoT. Connected traps now enable continual surveillance of customer sites, making faster, better targeted and more efficient interventions possible.

The example of Ireland is a perfect illustration:

In 2024, the Elis Connect Pest Control offer was enhanced with a dashboard accessible via MyElis, a real control centre providing a real-time view of infestations and the corrective actions taken.

With more than 25,000 active connected traps, Elis Pest Control Ireland has become the most digitised company in the country in its sector. This large-scale deployment convinced major players such as Aldi and Starbucks, which have equipped their stores, and ESB Power, which has adopted the solution for its production site.

The advantages are clear and measurable:

50% reduction in physical visits

46% decrease in the use of rodenticides

57% reduction in the time for resolving incidents 30% fewer emergency interventions

This success confirms the relevance of our approach: technical innovation is a driver of performance, lower environmental impact and differentiation.

DYNAMIC MARKETING STRATEGY

We capitalise on the expertise of our Pest Control middle account managers, while facilitating the involvement of our small account managers, who can now propose a package offer that is easy to present, for which the service is provided by the regional technical centres. An efficient, profitable and value-creating solution for everyone.

Our strength: our technical expertise.

France has stood out in particular, with the implementation of a key accounts unit, that works as a real growth accelerator, supplementing the existing sales teams. Several countries can be inspired by this model, in synergy with Elis’s other services.

In 2024, led by Maxime Agazzotti, the French key accounts team made the national listing of the Carrefour group for a period of two years. A major success made possible by quality support and a made-to-measure commercial offer.

In 2025, a new milestone was achieved with a three-year listing with the Andros group. “This success is based on our geographic coverage, our strong customer references, and the commitment of the teams, notably during the visit of the Limoges Pest Control site”, highlights Maxime Agazzotti

Other successes followed in the spring, notably with Action and Lidl. This is just the start. The task for the Pest Control key accounts teams is now to reinforce customer follow-up to maximise satisfaction and loyalty over the long term.

Implementation at the Andros site

“Our proposal of bespoke audits also made the difference, reflecting our ability to support our customers with tailored and efficient solutions. This work enabled us to secure the set-up of a first site, Andros Fruival in Porteslès-Valence, as of January 2025. A win generated by the technical expertise of our two account managers, Audrey Paquien and Fabien Richard, and our ability to meet the most demanding needs of our customers with standardised requirements.”

INTERVIEW WITH François-David Tourneur, Country head for Germany and Austria

Tell us about your career journey at Elis before taking on your current roles.

I joined Elis in 2014 after 12 years at Michelin. I started as General Manager of the Bezons site, and then of the one in Bordeaux. In 2017, with the acquisition of Berendsen, I was appointed Regional Director in Germany. In 2019, I became Chief Operating Officer for the country, and then, two years ago, Chief Executive Officer for Germany and Austria, where we now have close to 7,000 employees.

What motivated you to take the step of international transfer?

The idea of an international position did not come to me right away, but quickly made sense when the opportunity arose. I had wonderful memories of my time in Germany during my studies. I saw a double challenge there: on the professional front, with a demanding and competitive market, and on the personal front, having to immerse myself in a different culture. I wouldn't hesitate to repeat the experience.

What where the main challenges you encountered on your arrival?

I was one of only a few French people, in an environment marked by the cohabitation of two very different corporate cultures. It took time for me to decode the managerial expectations, the decision-making processes, as well as the implicit conventions structuring day-to-day professional relationships. In addition to these organisational factors, I also had to understand the complexity of the local market and specific customer expectations. The customers have high demands in terms of quality and technology, in a context of strong price pressure, in particular for flat linen, due

to a very fragmented market. The work to adapt in terms of culture, organisation and business proved to be a bigger factor than mastering the language. This learning curve must not be underestimated, and cannot be taken lightly.

How did your family experience this expatriation?

It was a decision we made together. My children went to school at the lycée français, which made it easier for them to adapt. They integrated first through the expat community, then sports and local associations. They now speak German and have a different view of the world. The notions of nationality and language are no longer important. An openness to the world is ingrained in them.

What advice would you give to anyone considering an international transfer?

It is a profoundly enriching experience, as long as it has been carefullythought out and shared with the whole family. The language barrier is often overestimated: the real challenge lies in understanding the local culture and specificities of the market. I never felt alone. At Elis, there was always someone to support me, guide me and answer my questions, every step of the way.

One final thought?

There is no set path. The Group offers a multitude of opportunities. If you share Elis’s values and give the best of yourself, opportunities will come to you. In my opinion, the Group's best challenges are abroad. There are so many things to learn. It’s exciting.

THE LOST-TIME WORKPLACE ACCIDENT FREQUENCY RATE
