PRESIDENT´S COLUMN What will my summer look like this year? To be honest, this will be my first summer working almost full time and I’m actually excited? How much I do wish for vacation, it still feels like not needing to study for a while will be enough vacation? I think a lot of you can relate. So, this summer you will find me at IKEAs brand new store at Stockholms Galleria with a new inspiring digital focus - come say hi if you pass by! However, I will not work all summer - Marbella is calling, our lovely country house, hopefully a summer U9 gathering at our beloved west coast, some golf playing and much more.

It feels like spring came over a night. I was away during Easter holiday to Lund for theU9 conference and then I took my chance to spend a day in Copenhagen - it was all lovely. Before I left Umeå, the snow was still very present and the buds were not developed at all. When arriving again at Umeå Airport after five days away, it somehow felt all surrealistic - spring had finally arrived.When writing this it’s about 3 weeks until my last exam, it feels like forever, but timeflies and I am currently trying to really spend these last 3 weeks before going home to Stockholm wisley. I want to do everything that gives me summer feelings and brings me joy - such as going to Sjöbris, having a picnic with friends at campusänarna and spending the nights at Tviste with all of you.
Lastly I would like to remind you readers, that you have been studying a whole year and that is tough - and it is therefore more than okay to take time off this summer to just relax and charge your batteries before all comes. It is always okay so say no and wanting what’s best for you. I wish you all an amazing summer, and I can’t wait to see you all, and our new rookies, when fall comes.
