INTRODUCING OUR HEAD OF MIDDLE SCHOOL
Braemar College is pleased to welcome Ms Liz Benson as our new Head of Middle School, commencing in 2026. Liz brings with her more than two decades of experience in middle years education, having worked across a range of Australian and international school contexts with a strong and consistent focus on student wellbeing,learning,andleadership.
Throughout her career, Liz has demonstrated a deep commitment to the unique developmental stage of adolescence She has held senior leadership roles including Deputy Principal (Years 7–9), Director of Pedagogy, and most recently Head of Secondary in an international setting Across these roles, she has led significant improvement in teaching and learning, wellbeing structures, and pastoral systems, always grounded in evidence-informed practice and a strong understandingofhowyoungadolescentslearnbest.
