2026 – Bus Information

Update on 2026 Bus Transportation to Braemar College

As we prepare for the 2026 school year, I would like to share some important information regarding our College’s bus transportation system.

Our bus network plays a vital role in supporting families, providing a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly way to transport approximately 1,100 students to and from school each day. This service is included in your school fees and connects students across both campuses.

Organising a network of this scale, comprising 22 buses and numerous stops, is a complex process. Routes, stops and times are reviewed annually, and we thank families for their understanding as adjustments are made for the year ahead.

RollCall App – an essential check for all families

Our bus provider, Organs Coaches, reviews and updates bus routes, stops and pick-up and drop-off times each year based on students’ primary residential addresses.

All bus details for 2026 will be published in the RollCall app once they go live.

It is essential that families check the app carefully when this occurs, as stop times, routes and even allocated buses may have changed from 2025.

The RollCall app allows parents and guardians to:

• Confirm route information

• Check the location of your allocated stop

• Review pick-up and drop-off times for your child/ren

For new families, a welcome email from RollCall with login details and instructions will be sent after Wednesday.

Families can access this information via the RollCall Parent App, available by searching “RollCall Parent” in your app store. When prompted, please search for the school code “braemar”.

What families need to do

All current families are asked to log in to RollCall and carefully review their child/ren’s bus details once they become available. Please do not assume your 2025 arrangements will remain unchanged.

Temporary limitations on changes

As the bus network settles into operation, we are unable to facilitate changes to bus allocations or split drop-offs during the first four (4) weeks of the school year. We ask families to plan accordingly and appreciate your understanding during this period.

To support a smooth start, we encourage families to:

• Allow extra time – arrive at your stop at least 10 minutes early, particularly in the first few weeks

• Be patient – minor delays or adjustments may occur as routes settle

Please note that buses will continue to drop students at the Mount Macedon campus first, before proceeding to the Woodend campus.

The safety and wellbeing of our students remains our highest priority. Bus operations will be closely monitored throughout the first month of school, and adjustments will be made where required.

If you notice any unexpected details in RollCall or have concerns about the service, please contact the College:
