Zimmer + Rohde’s EDITION wallpaper collection is focussed on the process used to manufacture it, achieved by highlighting the craftsmanship that goes into creating the fabrics, either as a base material, texture or appliqué. In seeking out its origins, EDITION returns to its creative roots: the colour, material and manufacture process. In an abstract expressionist style, the collection experiments with coloured fields, the application of colour, the blending of materials, and various different layering techniques. Just like the collector’s and luxury editions are, all wallpapers were originally a handcrafted product. To create the illusion of depth you find in CREASE, delicate textile fabrics are carefully dyed, pleated and then finished. MATRIX synthesises coloured, cut, frayed and appliquéd pieces of fabric to complete the puzzle. RAFFIA PLAIN is a richly textured wallcovering that paints the tale of natural fibres from the raffia palm, which is native to Madagascar, and woven on traditional handlooms. EDITION represents both a return to the roots and Zimmer + Rohde’s new and expanded in-house expertise in textiles.

Above Right: Christopher Farr Since its inception, Christopher Farr has set out to bring together the creative vision of modern artists and designers with the ancient craft traditions of the great weaving cultures of the world. Woven is a compelling demonstration of that mission in practice. Earlier this year, the British-born, LA-based fashion designer Gregory Parkinson spent time at Christopher Farr’s weaving mill in India, working with the weavers to explore alternative approaches to conventional rug-making. The result is a collection that not only expresses Parkinson’s peerless affinity with colour, but also demonstrates a variety of unorthodox weaving and making techniques not found anywhere else in the Christopher Farr collection. The collection includes the use of space-dyed yarns to create intriguing colour effects and the application of different materials, such as wool and hemp, as warp and weft threads to achieve striking new frontiers in textural richness and variety. Woven reaffirms Christopher Farr’s commitment to exploring the possibilities of weaving as a craft, and captures the studio’s undimmed curiosity as to what can happen when craft practices dating back centuries meet the visionary aesthetic ideas of today Opposite page, bottom: : John Pawson X Cocoon by C.P. Hart Re-defining bathroom minimalism, the new John Pawson Collection with Dutch designer brand Cocoon, is an industrial-inspired, architectural masterpiece. Each piece in the collection, consisting of basin mixers, floor-standing bath spouts, overhead and hand-held showers, honours the ‘golden ratio’, creating perfectly proportioned and beautifully striking brassware alternatives. Following Pawson’s pared-back mantra, the collection is characterised by simple shapes and exaggerated curves. Large arching spouts juxtapose small rounded mixer handles for a dramatic aesthetic. Built to last, the entire collection is made from AISI316 marine grade stainless steel and is available in three colours: Brushed Stainless Steel, Brushed Gold and Dark Grey. The collection is packed with new technological features, including NANO anti fingerprint coating, the latest water-saving systems and a fully adjustable build-in system for easy installation. With a basin mixer which has been awarded the Archiproducts Design Award 2019 for ‘Best Design’, the elegant collection is exclusively available at C.P. Hart, who heralds the arrival of the new classic.
