Pros: Reduces freight presence on residential roads and locates warehousing and storage near existing rail lines to shorten transport time for goods. Creates and retains jobs within freight, rail, logistics, and manufacturing which offers lifelong careers for people. Lessens the environmental impact of freight by strategizing for cleaner and more efficient ways to move trucks, reduce noise pollution, and improve safety.
