Activation of Commercial Corridor The parklets are temporary solutions for placemaking and
will open further opportunities such as spaces for public art or landscaping to absorb rainwater. They will further help gauge support for permanent
sidewalk extensions and removal of parallel parking. Parking installations may occur on a rotating schedule to encourage businesses to provide their
parallel parking spaces and for pedestrians to experience the variety of businesses Western Ave. has to offer.
