Clinton Dems Win Big; Candidates Look Ahead By Eric O'Connell Staff Writer
On a windy but warm Election Day, Clinton Democrats had a huge night top to bottom. Most notably, voters overwhelmingly reelected Democrats Carrie Allen and Chris Passante to the Town Council along with Republican Jeremiah Dunn.
At the polls, voters were asked at the top of the ticket to choose between the four endorsed candidates for the three open Town Council seats. Allen won 2,144 votes, Passante had 2,222, and Dunn wound up with 1,834. Republican incumbent Mike Shove was the odd man out and won 1,653 votes. The win by both Democrats keeps the
council a Democratic majority, and all those elected will serve a four-year term. They will join Republicans Chris Aniskovich and Dennis Donnovan as well as Democrats Brian Roccapriore and Hank Teskey on the Town Council for at least the next two years. See Clinton page 7
