MANCHESTER stars won 8-3 against Birmingham stars at a Football match hosted by Somali Adult Social Care Agency.

The match took place at Trafford youth centre in Manchester in March.

In an interview with SASCA News, the manager of Manchester Stars, Faarax Caddow said: “This is the second match between both teams. It’s a great opportunity for these young men to get to know each other.

“Football is a great way to keep the younger generation away from the influences of drugs and knife crime.

“I would like to thank SASCA for their hospitality and giving us the opportunity for this to happen. I would also like thank Kaysaye Maxamuud, who is the manager of the Birmingham stars.”

Manchester and Birmingham stars are a team of the average 11 players and the age range was between 19-27. Both team mangers hope they have the pleasure of playing with each other again in the near future
