CLASS OF 2024 FEATURE
Ryleigh Cyrus - What impact has The Dance Attic made on your life? The dance attic has made a vast impact on my life I’ve been a dancer there for over 10 years now Throughout my time, i created lasting friendships, countless memories, i gained confidence on and off stage, and learned the true meaning of teamwork, discipline, and community The staff has created a supportive and positive environment to be part of where me and other students, are fully comfortable to be themselves,to use dance as an emotional outlet. TDA has pushed me to become a better version of myself I will forever be grateful that i get to call the dance attic my second home. How do you hope to leave your imprint on The Dance Attic before graduation? I hope to leave an imprint on the younger dancers by encouraging them to dance for themselves and not the others around them. It’s okay not to look or dance like everyone else. I hope the dance attics positive energy and environment continues to growing to help maintain to the same experience me and the other seniors have shared

MAKING AN IMPACT IS GOING GLOBAL!

This summer Ms. Charleigh will be heading to South Africa to team up with Impact Africa in refugee camps in Johannesburg. Her goal: To SERVE these communities by providing help with everyday tasks like cleaning and laundry, to listen, to learn, and to love. To EDUCATE by working with underprivileged, at risk, and orphaned children in the Impact Kids program And to RESCUE by working with the Baby Rescue program to advocate for young mothers in preventing baby abandonment and to provide care that focuses on building strong families. South Africa holds a very dear place in the hearts of Ms. Charleigh and her family. They have served, learned from, and made lifelong connections with the people in the Kya Sands and Diepsloot communities. They cannot make this trip without support. First and foremost, they would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for safety and provision If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation, that will go entirely towards funding Ms. Charleigh’s trip, you can follow this link: https://fcsmnstry.io/2ju/DlsLwVtjKH
From her family to yours “Ngiyabonga” (Thank you!) for your love and support!
