BEGINNING OF THE YEAR REMINDERS

CLASS TITLES (Combo Dancers): Combo classes are currently listed by day Once enrollment is finalized and we see dancers together, classes will be divided and retitled with numbers in the system This process should be complete by the third week For the first two weeks, dancers may enter class barefoot before switching into their dance shoes with teachers once they pick an order for the day

ONLINE PAYMENTS & TUITION: Monthly statements will be emailed with details of charges and payments A card on file is required, but cash/check payments may be submitted at TDA by the 25th of the prior month Please review the JackRabbit payment policy for auto-pay details.

SEPTEMBER TUITION: Tuition totals will be visible in your portal on August 25th. September billing will include your September tuition plus half of June 2026 tuition. This structure ensures that your dancer’s tuition is spread evenly across the season, making monthly payments consistent. By collecting half of June’s tuition in your final tuition payment will be due on May 1, 2026. No tuition will be billed in June. In your account listings, you’ll notice tuition classes are marked with a “*” before the title. You’ll also see a separate listing for the costume portion of your monthly fees this is simply for bookkeeping purposes and remains in line with the tuition calendar and policies you’ve agreed to within your TDA portal.

TRIAL CLASSES (First Month Only): Dancers may try classes in September and adjust enrollment before October. Ballet and Jazz are required for all Combo and Advanced dancers; additional styles may be added.

NEW STUDENT INTEREST: For the month of September if you know of anyone that would like to try a trial class, they may do so by contacting TDA at info@thedanceattic.com and we will place them in the appropriate class to try. We are trying to finalize our season by Mid-September so if you have anyone who is interested, send them our way ASAP! Remember for anyone that uses your name in registration process, you will receive a surprise on your September Tuition!

SAFETY & OTHER REMINDERS

Parking & Drop-Off

Staff Safety

Your dancer’s safety is always our top priority All of our returning staff members completed background checks last season, and we are in the process of completing them for our new staff this year We want you to feel confident knowing our entire team is dedicated to creating a safe and positive environment for every dancer at TDA and that your dancers safety is at the top of our priorities

The Market

We’re excited to have the Wake African and Caribbean Market in our business complex. Many dancers have enjoyed their snacks last season and over the summer. Please remind your dancer to be respectful when visiting. Dancers under age 13 should not go to the store without a parent.
