TDA MONTHLY FOCUS: This season we’ve introduced a new program at TDA: a studio-wide monthly focus designed to help dancers grow both on and off the dance floor. We are so proud of our staff for integrating this new program into classes and bringing such positive energy into the studio. In September, our dancers explored the theme of BALANCE, learning not only how to stay steady in their movements but also how balance can carry into life outside the studio The positive vibes have been amazing, and we’re already seeing dancers shine in new ways For October, our focus is Strength Strength is more than just muscle it’s confidence, resilience, and the ability to keep going when things get tough We can’t wait to see our dancers continue to grow stronger in both body and spirit this month

CATCHING KINDNESS: As a team, we believe character matters just as much as technique and skill That’s why we’re introducing Catching Kindness! Ms Hallie will be on the lookout for dancers who show kindness, friendship, and positive character while at the studio This is not about time working in the classrooms, it’s about the little moments that make a big difference, like encouraging a classmate, showing respect, or being a helpful friend When a dancer is “caught” in a kind moment, their name will go into our Catching Kindness box for a small surprise and photo We can’t wait to see the kindness shine through our dancers this season!
POP UP CLASS WITH MS. ABBY: We are thrilled to welcome Miss Abby Telenko back to the studio for a special Contemporary Pop-Up Class on Sunday, October 19 from 12:00–3:00 pm at The Dance Attic. The cost for the class is $20. Final rosters and class schedules will be shared once enrollment is complete We are so excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to have Miss Abby back in the studio You can register today under the Events Tab in your Parent Portal

COSTUME SIZING
FORM: In Order to assist us with sizing for our costume orders, we are asking parents to help us out! In order to do so, we need everyone to work together and get measurements for each of our dancers. CLICK HERE to access to Google Form with measurement instructions and submission google form If you are a TDAC dance member; please be sure to still complete this form as it is a separate grouping of orders. In the description of the form, you will find more details regarding the measurement protocols. If you do not complete the measurement form, TDA Staff will use the measurements we take in the studio to make sizing decisions. This form is due no later than OCTOBER 25th and to be clear with all, there will not be any costume refunds, no exchanges all alterations are to be made by families and are not the responsibility of TDA.
DRESS CODE REMINDERS: There are lots of different styles and fashions for our dancers, and while we encourage you to express your own style, it is important for dancers to dress appropriately for class. We would appreciate all dancers having the appropriate clothes and shoes by October 15th
Advanced Ballet Classes: Leotards and Tights are suggested for all Ballet Classes We want to see your body lines clearly Boys may wear shorts and a shirt, but nothing too loose-fitting Ballet shoes must be worn with strings tucked into the toe For all other styles of dance, you can add leggings shirts etc just make sure you can move freely
Shoes: CLICK HERE to see a list of shoes for each class on our website. If you have a pair that are not this style, that is okay for now, you will just need the correct style by competition/recital.
TUITION REMINDERS: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and considered late after the 7th, with statements emailed along with the Newsletter on the 25th of the prior month. Tuition may be paid with cash in a labeled envelope with the dancer’s name and amount or with a check with the dancer’s name in the memo line, and payments should be placed in the locked drop box in the lobby or handed to the Front Desk Coordinator by the 25th. If payment is not received, your card on file will be charged automatically on the 1st. A $25 late fee applies after the 7th, and unpaid balances may be sent to collections. We appreciate your attention to this matter and your timely payments that allow us to continue providing the best possible experience for all dancers.
LOOKING AHEAD: (Christmas Parade & Accessory) TDA will be participating in the Rolesville Christmas Parade on Sunday December 7th. For the parade, as well as our TDA Competition in the Spring, dancers are required to wear/purchase this year’s TDA accessory. We will be passing out our 2025-26 Accessory (Still a surprise) the first week of November, and you will be charged $5 for the accessory as mentioned in Policies signed at the beginning of the year on November 15th. It is really important for all dancers to keep their accessories as well as their Lavendar TDA Shirts in a safe place throughout the season so they are sure to keep track of it for special events. Be sure to have your dancers name somewhere too!
