All TDA Dancers and families should have access to your schedules and have submitted your class selection form finalizing what classes you would like removed from your schedule If you have submitted your form, your schedules will be finalized by June 1 If you still would like to make changes to your Summer and Fall Schedule please email us and we will work together to get that corrected for you If you have not completed your form, please do so ASAP so we can finalize enrollment and schedules. Recital will be held at Wakefield High School, June 7-8th! June 6th will be a dress rehearsal for shows 1-3 at Wakefield High School There will be three shows on Saturday, and one show on Sunday Reminder that we will have photo op places for all of our TDA Families to capture their memories and to share on social media. Please read below for a breakdown of rehearsal times and locations leading up to Recital. As we jump into all of the excitement, we hope to see your memories of the recital season captured on social media. Please be sure to tag The Dance Attic in any of your celebrations.
In Studio Recital Rehearsals: The rehearsals below will be our last rehearsals at TDA before we head over to Wakefield High School on Friday for Dress Rehearsal. Dancers will follow the altered time schedules listed below based off of what recitals they are in. We will not have regular classes Recital week. For these rehearsals, dancers will wear regular dance clothes and run through their dances in show order. Dancers will rehearse the bow for recital first and then will be released after their final routine of the night. Productions will not run any of the in Recital 1-3 In House Recital Rehearsals.

Recital Parent Information Meetings: We will be inviting the parents of our young dancers into the studio to review Recital information. Please see meeting schedule listed below. When you come for your meeting time, please bring your computer/device so we can get some information completed from you. All Advanced classes will not have in person meetings, if you have further questions ask your dancer and or email info@thedanceattic.com

Rehearsals and Recitals hosted at Wakefield High School: Friday, June 6th will be a dress rehearsal for all shows (with exception of the Company Gala). You should arrive for this rehearsal ready for the stage in your first costume. All other costumes should be packed in a basket or bin in the order that they are needed. When arriving, dancers will head into the dressing room to drop their bins off if they have multiple costumes and then head back into the auditorium for announcements and to rehearse the bow, before we start the rehearsal for the show. Younger dancers will be assigned an older dancer to help them dress at the rehearsal and recital This will be sent in a separate email for all to view. Once dancers are settled we ask that all parents exit the dressing room, as there are no parents permitted in this area. For Dress Rehearsal, your dancer may leave as soon as you are finished with all of your dances and parents are allowed to sit in the auditorium. Additionally, please be aware that no pictures should be taken inside the dressing room.

Merchandise: Those of you who pre-ordered Recital Programs & T Shirts will receive those in a bag with all pre-ordered merchandise at our In House Recital Rehearsals At the recital venue is where you will pick up your pre-ordered flowers, prior to entering the auditorium You will give your last name, and they will have your flowers ready for pick up There will be a limited number of programs and T-Shirts for sale at the venue This will be on sale for cash or venmo payments only
Dismissal Protocol: (On Recital Days Only) At the conclusion of each recital, all classes will come together on stage for a final bow After bows in Recital 1 and 2, the curtains will close and dancers will remain on stage for parent pick-up This is a great time to give your dancer flowers, gifts, or trinkets and take a few quick photos This process will be rehearsed at Dress Rehearsal so everyone knows what to expect Once you have picked up your dancer from the stage, please return to the original drop-off area to collect their belongings and exit the venue Dancers in Recital 3 and our TDAC Company dancers will be dismissed directly from the dressing room area to find their families Please note that we must fully clear the auditorium before opening doors for the next recital, and saving seats in advance or between shows is not permitted.
Photos with Ms. Wanda: Don’t miss a special moment with Ms. Wanda! At the end of each recital, she’ll be heading to the photo station to snap pictures with dancers and families, share some sweet hugs, and even help take photos for your family if you’d like It’s a great chance to capture a memory with someone who has made such a lasting impact on our studio!
Achievement Pins: For dancers that are new this season, we will have your first year achievement for you to take home during your in house dress rehearsal. A fun keepsake to keep track of their dance journey and their time here at TDA. Dancers receiving the 5 or 10 year milestone achievement pins will be recognized on stage at recital.

Dancers of all ages and levels can explore different styles while staying active and improving their technique Get ready for a fun and challenging summer of dance at The Dance Attic! Please note that our Monday Conditioning Class Placements are based off of your dancers' placements for the upcoming season If you are not registered for the upcoming season, TDA Staff will help get you placed in the appropriate levels All dancers are required to take their levels CORE class before adding on additional styles/classes to their Monday Conditioning Schedule. Dancers are encouraged to take advantage of our 3 day Intensives, where different teachers will focus on different styles from week to week. This is available for dancers 6 and up. Dancers will learn long movement phrases within the two styles for the intensive. For summer intensives we recommend dancers age 8 and up participate in these higher level classes. Please see below for schedules, pricing, and dates for our Summer Intensive Program. All Summer Intensives are $150 per Intensive regardless of a dancer's age or class placement level. Please note that our Monday Conditioning Class Placements are based off of your dancers' placements for the upcoming season. IN HOUSE CONVENTION
We’re thrilled to introduce an exciting new addition to our season programming TDA In-House Convention! This convention is part of a new series of in-house workshops designed to enhance our dancers’ versatility, technique, and industry knowledge Modeled after professional conventions, these events give dancers the chance to train with both TDA faculty and accomplished guest artists across a range of styles and disciplines.
When: Sunday, August 17th from 9 AM – 4 PM - Schedule and Classes determined based on enrollment Fee: $150 per dancer Faculty & Styles for August In House Convention #1 will be announced soon!
Throughout the day, dancers will take part in six dynamic classes, receive special recognition, and have the opportunity to perform in a high-energy, supportive environment. This experience is designed to build confidence, encourage growth, and prepare dancers for future convention and performance settings
