Aloha Seamonkeys! My name is Isabelle Pan, and I will be serving as the News Editor for the 2022-2023 term. Some of you may know that I was the Tech Editor for the 2021-2022 term, and I am proud to be representing Division 28 South and my home club Ed W. Clark once again. I can’t wait to see what this term holds: service, friendships, events, and all! I am writing this letter after our June Joint DCM, which I hope all of you enjoyed (because I sure did). Make sure to thank our region LTG’s for planning such a fun event; They did a fantastic job! There, Jessica announced our snazzy division leadership team for this term, and I am very excited to present to you in this newsletter with their introductions. In fact, this newsletter is themed green and yellow/brown in our division colors for their welcome. :) After creating this newsletter, I have a renewed admiration for every news/bulletin editor. There is an immense amount of time that goes into each newsletter, so please look at each page as well as support other newsletters in our clubs, other divisions and districts, and the international ones if you have the time. Refresh up on your Key Club knowledge and maybe learn something new! That’s all for now, take care and enjoy your summer seamonkeys! Excited to serve,

A&V Due every 10th of the month

Welcome to the month of July! Might I say, this summer has been quite an eventful one. Hosting our first joint DCM with D28W, D28N, and D28E, I hope you all enjoyed the water games and were able to cool down from the summer heat. I’d like to thank everyone who was in attendance, and let’s all give a big round of applause to the newly appointed members of the Division Leadership Team! With the new DLT officially established, I would like to share that the D28S DLT and I have many plans for the term, especially ones that would help contribute to our division goals. For a refresher, the official division goals for the 22-23 club term are 600 dues paid members, 6500 hours served, and $2500 raised as a division towards the Pediatric Trauma Program and the YES! Initiative. In order to reach these goals, we need your help and we also need to support each other! That being said, keep doing what you are doing seamonkeys. Keep servin’ to your highest potential. Remember, take opportunities while you can, and always work to be the best you could possibly be. If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, just hit me or the rest of the DLT up! I would love to talk to you all, whether or not it’s Key Club related! Well that’s enough from me Seamonkeys, don’t forget to stay safe, have fun, stay hydrated, wear your sunscreen, and of course STAY SNAZZY!

Proud to serve,

Jessica Ryn d28s.ltg@cnhkeyclub.org

"I enjoyed the June DCM. Our icebreaker was a water balloon toss where we got to divided into four groups and got to introduce ourselves to other members of different key clubs. After that we did role call with our LTG Jessica. We discussed to the other members of D28S how we are planning for the next term including RTC. We also got a certificate for Aidan who is now part of the Division Leadership Team. Afterwards we did a few water-related activities including a water balloon fight."

"The June DCM was an overall fun experience. Finding where the location was was a tad bit challenging but everything else went smoothly. It was nice interacting with my homie TC from Green Valley and other Key Club members from our division. Water related activities were an unsuspected but welcome surprise. 8/10 would recommend.."
