The app’s branding includes bright primary colors, as well as simple but bold typography in order to appeal to a large audience of people with different interests and skills. SwapMeet’s interface is designed to be userfriendly, and makes it easy for users to connect with other individuals who are interested in skill bartering.

Design Brief:
Movies After Midnight is a horror themed drive-in movie theater. The branding for the theater uses dark reds and beiges to give it a dark and spooky aesthetic. The special event at the drive-in is called Family Fright Weekend, which is a family-friendly Halloween event that welcomes people of all ages to enjoy child friendly horror movies. The poster design for the event maintains the dark aesthetic of the drive-in; however, it includes a friendly looking cartoon ghost to appeal more towards children.

This poster design is centered around the mythological creature, the Kraken. The centerpiece of the poster is a detailed and captivating illustration of the Kraken, inspired by vintage matchbox art. The poster incorporates bold serif and sans-serif typefaces as well as a color palette of blue, red, and teal to further its resemblance to a matchbox design. The poster includes clear and distinct color separations to facilitate the screen-printing process.

Design Brief:
Vanic energy is an energy drink brand marketed towards young adults who are looking to get a sustained energy boost. The typographic logo is a custom sans serif typeface that has sharp angles, and the whole thing is angled to create movement. This is intended to invoke feelings of boldness and energy. The packaging design includes the Vanic logo diagonally across the can to create movement and an energetic feel. The series is a tropical line of energy drinks, and each can has a unique monochromatic color palette that represents the flavor of the drink.

Design Brief:
The Dover Dragons are a basketball team based in Dover, Delaware. The team’s branding includes a logo depicting a dragon holding a basketball. The logo is created with bold, energetic strokes, conveying a sense of motion and power. The wayfinding graphics draw from the team’s branding, utilizing the same color palette and bold strokes. For the environmental graphic, I utilized photoshop to create an energetic mural design that features a basketball player from the team, as well as an encouraging message.

Design principles such as repetition, variety, and balance are utilized in this design to create a unified depiction of North Carolina.
The second t-shirt design highlights the music of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The focal point of the design is a banjo that transforms into the Blue Ridge Parkway, which creates a visual depiction of the connection between the geographic location and bluegrass music.
