PUBLIC NOTICES Cromwell Resource Centre Sir/Madam Through your column we would like to acknowledge and thank very much Cromwell and the Businesses for their support and sponsorship with our annual 30th year ‘Gold N Notes Hoedown’ held at the Cromwell Racecourse. Without all your assistance and support this event would not have been the success it was. We would like to especially thank THE TRUSTS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION and SUMMERLAND TRANSPORT for assisting with freight of our marquee for their contribution, along with the Cromwell Town & Country Club, Room Mate Cabins Alexandra Who sponsored Don Costa to attend from Australia, Local Volunteer Fire Brigade who assisting in erecting the large marquee, Cromwell Lions Club and Cromwell Squash Club for food and Refreshments. Also without Brownie, Peter Forsyth, Russell and Sharon Crosbie, Reg McTaggart, and with Several Motor Home owners who come early and stayed back who assisted with the erection and dismantling of the Marquee. The Costs related mainly to the Marquee and Hire. To cater for 850 plus (185 Motorhomes) in Cromwell under one roof is impossible as one must realise and without this support we could not host this type of event financially. We have had a lot of positive feedback from all over New Zealand and they all have stated it was a great event and are planning to come back again next year.

THANK YOU My brother John and I would like to thank everyone -neighbours, friends, family and the Cromwell community for the incredible love and support shown to both our Mum (Alwyn) and to our Dad (Tom) as her health declined over the last few months. We thank you for being there to comfort and support Dad when Mum passed away and have shown great kindness and love to Dad, John and myself. We know you will continue to care about and support Dad as he gets over his tremendous loss. As trying to thank everyone individually or personally could result in someone very important being mistakenly forgotten, please acknowledge this as a personal ‘thank-you’.
