A MESSAGE FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
Welcome to the final edition of Momentum for 2025.
I hope this edition finds all members, guests and visitors alike well and still enjoying the many benefits and promotions Your Club has to offer.

As the official social home of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys NRL and NRLW teams, we really have become the number one destination for Cowboys Fans for both home and away games. The Cowboys Stampede has become a mustdo event for home games, and we would like to say a big thank you to the Townsville Drum Collective for leading our Stampede every week. This year we introduced the Stampede for our NRLW team, and we thank all members and fans who joined the walk in support of our superstar women.
Speaking of our amazing NRLW team, at the time of writing, they are about to enter their first ever finals campaign. As a major sponsor and their official social home, we couldn’t be prouder of what they have been able to achieve on the field this year. Hopefully, by the time you receive this we will be celebrating our first NRLW premiership.
No matter the result, I am sure all members will agree they should be very proud of their achievements in 2025. We can’t wait to support them and our NRL team in 2026.
In this edition we’re celebrating yet another impressive staff milestone. A huge thank you and congratulations to our Merchandise Coordinator, Paula Jobson on reaching an incredible 15 years with the Club. I have had the pleasure of working closely with Paula over the last 15 years, and I have seen firsthand her passion, commitment and dedication to the Club. Her efforts have played a pivotal role in growing our Team Shop to the number 1 destination in Australia for Cowboys NRL and NRLW merchandise, both in-store and online. I am incredibly grateful for everything she has done.
Looking ahead, there are a couple of key events you won’t want to miss. Our Melbourne Cup Luncheon and New Years Eve Seafood Spectacular always sell out fast and with this year’s events promising to be better than ever, I urge you to book early so you don’t miss out.
Finally, I would like to thank you for your ongoing support during 2025. On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and all staff, we wish all members and their families a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year, and we look forward to being Your Club in 2026.

What's your favourite memory from your time working at the Club?
The month after winning the grand final in 2015. Taking all of the phone calls from happy fans from all over Australia.
If you could swap jobs with anyone at the Club for a day, who would it be?
I love training new staff, so I'd swap with Anita, our HR Manager.
What's your go-to order from the Club menu?
Teriyaki Chicken Schnitzel from Match Restaurant.
What advice would you give to someone just starting at the Club?
Always speak up if you need help, our staff are more than just a team. They are like family.
What do you like to do when you're not at work?
Spending time with family and my dog Reggie.
What was your first job at the Club?
I have always been merchandise coordinator, however back then the shop was just a tiny corner shop. I've had the pleasure of building the shop up to where it is currently.
I would like to congratulate Paula on this fantastic milestone of 15 years with the Cowboys.
Paula has been pivotal to the operations of our TeamShop – from its early days as a small ‘hole in the wall’ off Stokes St to the vibrant Flinders St frontage of today.
Before moving the TeamShop in 2023 to its current position, Paula was also our senior receptionist while coordinating the shop behind the front desk. Over the years, Paula has attended 99% of the Cowboys Home Games, operating the outlets at the Dairy Farmers/1300 Smiles Stadium, of the past, to the 3 shops situated at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium. Whether trudging through mud at an away Trial Game or serving hundreds of kids at a Laurie Spina carnival, the shop was always in safe hands with Paula.
Her knowledge of our ranges is unmatched, and she’s even influenced the design of popular items like the infamous bin-chicken Budgy Smugglers. Paula’s passion for the TeamShop and dedication to our members and visitors has been, and will continue to be, a huge part of the Club’s success.

For a second year, we were proud to raise over $3,000 to support foster kids in need. Purchasing our delicious Teddy Bears Picnic special in Star Graze was just one one of the ways members could contribute to the cause.
National Breast Cancer Foundation PINK DAY
Your Club turned PINK and donated $3,196 to aid in the support, research, and development for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Angel Paws Pet Rescue Inc
Since 2018, we’ve been supporting Angel Paws and their amazing volunteers that lead our Charity Raffle & Free Bingo for members on Wednesday & Friday mornings.
Days for Girls and Charity Raffles
We love supporting local charities through our Charity Raffles Program, such as Days For Girls, who strive to increase access to menstrual care and education across the globe.
World’s Greatest Shave
With your help, we raised an incredible $10,276 for the Leukaemia Foundation through our World’s Greatest Shave Campaign.
Daffodil Day
Our chocolate Daffodil sales & donation tins raised over $600 for Cancer Council Australia.
