Dear Key Clubbers, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Is it just me, or am I the only one getting more saddened at the fact that Key Club is slowly coming towards its end? I just can’t believe how fast time has gone! Anyways, I’m glad to know that we have plenty more events to come still with our time! Hopefully all of you Key Clubbers remain as avid as you were! For this month’s issue, we will be hitting the points of past events, such as caroling and the Liberty DCM. To our great honor, we were able to receive a member from our club, Matt Villanueva, for Division MotM! Great job Matt, you definitely deserve it! Though this issue is quite short, we surely do have plenty of events to end the month off! Events ranging from Marathons to Division Judging! If you happen to be interested in a certain event, please be sure to contact one of the officers! Our information is put on the back of the newsletter! As a separate note, officer elections are taking place on January 22nd & January 29th! Be sure to attend the meeting to help elect your new board for next year! You must stay throughout the whole meeting to vote! I hope you all enjoy the rest of your month and this month’s issue of “The Cougar Claw”! Thank you!

“This was my second time caroling at St. Rose Hospital. Despite not being an amazing singer like the rest of the carolers, it was still an enjoyable and unique experience. Hearing those amazing voices sing Christmas songs brought me into the mood of Christmas. It was just as great as the first time. It was wonderful seeing those smiles on the patients. This is definitely one of my favorite service events. The happiness on those patients was just heart-warming. “
