The wide range of Zecher brand solutions proposed by ULMEX to the Italian corrugated cardboard printing market includes monolithic aniloxes and sleeves, new or regenerated. Each product is made with the latest generation patented proprietary technologies developed by the German brand’s R&D department to offer optimized performance also in terms of duration. “The solutions for the engraving and treatment of aniloxes developed in house by Zecher are unique on the market and significantly improve the efficiency in the different printing processes, while contributing to the reduction of costs and the achievement of the highest quality excellence”, adds Alessio Polastro commercial director at ULMEX Italia. SteppedHex anilox are characterized by a new geometry with staggered hexagonal cells, with steps, which makes them compatible with all types of ink (water based, solvent and UV). Particularly suitable for the flexography sector, are also the anilox made by Zecher with its proven 60° hexagonal technology. This standard engraving system was in fact developed by the German manufacturer to offer the highest print quality. Ideal for coating, aniloxes made with Trihelical (or cross-hatch) open engraving technology ensure excellent transfer performance, even for high volumes, always guaranteeing perfect homogeneity. Specifically designed to optimize ink application, the patented H.I.T. engraving significantly improves the density of backgrounds, such as white, minimizing pin hole effects. Excellent results that make the cylinders made with this technology suitable for use in flexo, flat-bed offset and corrugated cardboard markets. The performance of all Zecher anilox is also increased by a series of specific patented treatments, such as the I.T.S. system. This particular process of molecular ceramic processing, both superficial and permanent, is designed to optimize the transfer of water-based inks, keeping the cells clean over time. Alongside this is Protect, the permanent anti-corrosive treatment capable of forming a protective screen that increases the life of the cylinders.
