POSITION OVERVIEW

TheExecutiveChefoverseesall culinaryoperationsacrossthe Club’srestaurants,banquet functions,andadditionaldining outlets Thisroleinvolvescreating anddevelopinginnovativemenus, establishingfoodpurchase specifications,andcrafting detailedrecipestoensureahighqualitydiningexperiencefor guests.TheExecutiveChefwill superviseproductionstaff,ensuring thatculinarystandardsaremet professionallyandefficiently.

TheExecutiveChefwillalsodevelop andmanagethedepartment’s foodandlaborbudgets, implementingcost-effective practiceswithoutcompromising quality Thisroledemandsa commitmenttomaintainingthe highestfoodqualityandsanitation standards,contributingtoasafe andoutstandingculinary environment

JOBDUTIES

Leads,hires,trains,andmanagestheculinaryteam. Plansmenusforallrestaurantoutletsintheclub consideringmembers,marketingconditions, popularityofvariousdishes,holidays,costs,etc

Schedulesandcoordinatestheworkofchefs,cooks, andotherkitchenteammemberstoensurethatfood preparationistechnicallycorrectandconsistent. Ensureshighsanitationandcleanlinessstandards aremaintainedthroughoutthekitchenareas. Knowledgeofhealthinspectioncodesandstandards isexpected

Establishesandexecutesprocessesthatminimize foodcosts.

Safeguardsallfoodpreparationemployeesby trainingtoincreasetheirknowledgeofsafety, sanitation,andaccidentprevention

Developrecipesandtechniquesforfoodpreparation andpresentationtoensureconsistenthigh-quality, portioncontrol,andappropriatemenupricing. Managesproductionbyincludingtheuseofa dynamicrecipebookwithaccurateingredientsand picturesofpresentation

Responsibleforbudgetinhis/herareasof responsibility;takescorrectiveactionwhere necessarytoimpactfinancialgoalspositively. Mandatoryattendanceatfoodandbeverage meetings.

ConsultwiththeCateringDirectoraboutfood productionaspectsofspecialevents,includingmenu selection,platepresentation,andbuffetlayout Cooksordirectlysupervisesthecookingofitemsthat requireskillfulpreparation.

Supervisestheline,cooks,and/orexposduringactive timeseachday

Evaluatefoodproductstoensurethatquality standardsareconsistentlyattained Plansandmanagestheemployeemealprogram.

Salaryofferedbeginsat$100,000annually, commensuratewithexperience

Chattahoochee Country Club offers an inviting atmosphere and carefully curated menu selections, creating the ideal dining experience for families, groups, or a romantic dinner for two.

Members have the option to dine in the Bar, Grille, or on the Veranda overlooking the Club’s private cove on Lake Lanier. With seasonal lunch and dinner menus updated quarterly, the Club ensures offerings meet members’ highest expectations. The menus feature traditional meals, various CCC signature dishes, daily specials, and delightful desserts. Healthy options and special dietary accommodations are readily available, reflecting the Club’s commitment to providing superior, value-priced cuisine.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Aminimumof4yearsofculinaryexperienceinthe hospitalityindustry.Threeyearsinamanagerial roleinwhichsubordinatesincludesouschefs. Privateclubexperienceispreferred;however, candidatesfromluxuryhotels/resorts,restaurants, orsimilarhigh-endculinaryoperationswillbe considered
