Mandatory Training

MANDATORY TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

There are some mandatory classes that all employees are required to take. As a supervisor, we need your assistance to ensure compliance.

New employees will be provided a flyer during New Employee Orientation with more information about how to access the mandatory training for new employees in SkillSoft. There are also some courses required from time to time for all employees and/or supervisors.

Once you click on the Training & Development Link, you will see an option for Compliance Courses to the left.

Once you click Compliance Courses, you will see the Compliance Training for New Employees and the Compliance Training for all employees required for the year.

There are a variety of classes that will be required within an employee’s first two weeks of employment. Additional FEMA NIMS training is required within 6 months of employment. Your Training Liaison should be able assist you in determining what mandatory classes you and your employees will need to take.

Training Liaison information can be found on the Training and Development page on the far right side toward the bottom. See the screenshot on the next page.
