KEEP NAVASOTA BEAUTIFUL KEEP NAVASOTA BEAUTIFUL

5 ways you can make a difference. 5 ways you can make a difference.

A beautiful community is a shared effort, and thanks to the Keep Navasota Beautiful initiative, our city continues to grow cleaner, greener, and more vibrant. Through community events, clean-up efforts, and beautification projects, Keep Navasota Beautiful works year-round to preserve the charm of our hometown.

Here are five easy ways you can pitch in and help keep Navasota looking its best:

Participate in Community Cleanups

Join us for Trash Off on Friday, April 26, a citywide cleanup event where residents, groups, and businesses come together to collect litter and beautify public spaces. It’s a great way to get involved and give back!

2. Properly Dispose of Trash and Recyclables

Make sure to bag your trash securely, keep lids on bins, and follow guidelines for recycling. A few extra minutes of care can help prevent windblown litter and neighborhood messes.

3. Adopt-a-Spot or Organize a Group Cleanup

Whether it’s a park, sidewalk, or street corner, adopting a spot in your neighborhood can make a lasting impact. Gather some friends or coworkers and keep your adopted area clean throughout the year!

4. Plant Something Green

From adding flowers in your yard to planting trees in your neighborhood, greenery boosts curb appeal and supports our local environment. Native plants are especially helpful and lowmaintenance.

5. Report Illegal Dumping

See something that doesn’t belong? Help us keep our city safe and clean by reporting illegal dumping to the City of Navasota. Your voice matters in protecting our shared spaces.

Together, we can Keep Navasota Beautiful! Whether you give an hour of your time or adopt a long-term project, your efforts make a difference. For more information about Keep Navasota Beautiful or to sign up for the April 26 Trash Off, visit www.navasotatx.gov/keepnavasotabeautiful.
